As I mentioned in a previous post the LogMeIn app I also forgot to mention another one of my favorites. If you have Netflix and on a wifi network you can stream movies to it which is really nice. Another favorite app is GoodReader which allows you to import and organize pdf files. Now I can carry several of the reference books around on there and always have access to that information. No im not an apple fan-boy, in fact I hate what apple has turned into. But this is a pretty nice device overall. Yes the hardware needs to be enhanced and yes it is overpriced. One thing I find funny is most people who bitch and complain about it have never even tried the thing...go figure.

Exactly. I have the LogMeIn app on my ipad and I can lay on the couch and log in remotely to several of my computers around the house as well as a few relatives. Plus its a great book reader!

I had read a few articles and spoke with a few people that there actually was a reason they didnt just plug it up. There were some issues concerning the seabed and if they just 'plugged' it there could be some disruption to the seabed and possibly cause more problems. Who knows if this is true or not but I thought it was kind of interesting. I mean when you think about it, why would they really want this crap going all over the place when it just keeps costing them more money to clean up. Im hoping there is some truth to this and that was the reason they took their sweet ass time...but again who knows. Im glad they got this in place and there is finally some relief.

Right plus they fessed up to having obtained this data 'accidentally'. I think it would be different if they never said anything then it was discovered they had the data all along. Personally I don't think Google did anything wrong here. If this data was just out there, unencrypted to where anyone with half a brain could get it then the users should be held accountable.

Exactly. People will complain about Gates just because he's Bill Gates. Someone on here said he is only motivated by making money? How does donating so much of his money and time to fighting Aids help his profit margin? We all know he and his company have done some bad stuff but he has donated more than I think just about anyone. Funny how people forget about the positive aspects a person possesses when it do much easier an convenient to just complain about them.
