Being that all things of existence are in constant change for the Buddha, I think he is more likely to side with the evolutionists so I don't know why you lumped him in with Jesus and Allah.
I think you are mistaken. I bought a tivo which came with tivo basic included a 2 months or so ago. I didn't get any kind of rebate at all and when I went to upgrade the service to tivo plus at The tivo website it clearly says that there is a 12 month required for all tivo boxes activated with a monthy fee.
Here is from the terms of agreement:
WITH RESPECT TO ANY NEW TIVO PLUS SERVICE SUBSCRIPTION ACTIVATED ON OR AFTER SEPTEMBER 6, 2005, YOU AGREE TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE TIVO SERVICE FOR NO LESS THAN 12 MONTHS (THE "SERVICE COMMITMENT"). IF YOU FAIL TO MEET THE SERVICE COMMITMENT BY CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO THE TIVO PLUS SERVICE (OR IF TIVO TERMINATES YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO THE TIVO SERVICE DUE TO A BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT), YOU AGREE THAT TIVO MAY CHARGE YOU A $150 EARLY TERMINATION FEE, AND YOU AGREE TO PAY ANY SUCH EARLY TERMINATION FEE.
I am stuck with the 12 month contract and I didn't get a rebate....
After reading though the comments already written, I agree with many. But I know that for me it's the price that keeps me from the movies.
However, there is a "dollar" theater that is reasonably close that charges $1 per day ticket, $1.50 for a night time ticket, and 50 cents for all shows on tuesdays. My wife and I just wait a few months for something new to come and go to that.
What's great is that even if the movie was garbage, how bad do you really feel when all it cost you was $1.00 for two people? At that price, you can even walk out and not feel like you have lost. Half the time, we just dig change out of the ashtray in the car to go to the movies. That's why I know that price is the main problem with movies today.
The digital books files are based on Microsoft copyright protection software, which automatically expire after 21 days when stored on a computer.
So basically you are complaining because the library went with the DRM of a competitor of apple. Would you complain if the library went with Apple instead and those who have, for example, the Zen Nomad couldn't get those library books? Your post stinks of troll.
Eventually we will have an elite and secret group of five family's who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado known as "The Meadows".
who is this group you ask?
The Queen, the Vatican, the Yettis, the Rothschild, and Colonel Sanders before he went tet's up. Oooh I hated the Colonel, with his wee beady eyes and that smug look on his face. "Oooh you're gonna buy my chicken, oooh".
I must have amazing hearing then because I can clearly hear the difference between MICRO-soft and Mike-Rowe-Soft. Different stresses such as DIffer and diFFer.
Then again when was the last time you used your ears to type in www.mikerowesoft.com ?
The reason it has 13 pages of docs to install is because the whole point is it is "supposed" to be optimized.
It's a distro made for the type of user that cares about this sort of thing. Isn't that what is supposed to be one of the many great things about linux... options such as this?
If you don't want to install like this, then grab yourself a redhat iso.
I think this is similar to what is being said and from all places I got this from an fwd email:
This is cool! And true! I could read the whole paragraph without having to pause...amazing what the human mind can do! The paomnnehil pweor of the hmuan mnid. Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The first time I got this and read through and didn't even notice the letters.
Um, am I the only one who doesn't get this article.. basically he says:
1. it's possible
2. it's going to take good engineering
3. Here are some details about OS X
Not much of an article. I got all excited thinking they were on the edge of making a G5 powerbook but I feel slighted now.
The article said that Verizon kept its log files indefinitely where as others may have kept logs for 30 days meaning those other companies wouldn't be able to provide any information if legal battles took the courts over that amount of time.
I wonder if companies like SBC start gaining customers because of these practices if other companies would jump onboard.
How can they have an ethics section with spamming? Does it include something along the lines of "it is ethical to enter your email list to our database so we can have a super database"
and send your membership check to "this address"...
I agree with most you said.. but I would use a blog for your #2 reason because some friends and family are all around the world.
It's a lot easier for some of those who are in Japan and China to see a photo blog of me in the US then for me to call them. Cheaper too!:-)
*whooosh*
:-p
No, that's not the sound of the catfish making landfall...it was the sound of your reference going over my head. I guess I need to stay in more.

It's changed back already.... end of speculation
Nothing to see here... move along... move along...

It's still not OSX, running gentoo on a G5 in Soviet Russia!
That's also why I use Right Guard. Anything else would just be uncivilized

Now if it is legal...
I can't be the only geek who thought that was funny.

Vague? did you even read it?
Which of the many US OS makers should they support? Big ole Microsoft, Eye Candy Apple, or Geeky Linux?
