doesn't it make sense that they will just lose the money on the console and attempt to make it back on the games, similar to what microsoft is doing with the xbox? i suppose the point is that they would lose more money per console than microsoft is losing per xbox?
I've been using a Sun E450 with 3 processors for the better part of 5-6 years. Not sure how well it "balances" the load, but when I use TOP it seems to indicate that Solaris is in fact spreading the load appropriately.
Personally, I have stopped receiving almost all of my paper bills in favor of "electronic" ones. Some are linked straight to my bank where I can review them and pay them right out of my account, others are more of an "email/website" type ("This month's bill is now available at..."). Makes life much easier at the end of the month.
I played those games like mad back in my BBS days. I hosted all of those on my own BBS (as well as Operation Overkill ][ and many others). I made several of the ANSI drawings for LORD, maybe I can contribute something to LOGD as well. I have been waiting for someone to do this, I will be setting these up on my webserver ASAP! Ah, the good 'ole days of ANSI gaming.
