Does it seem to anyone else that there's a lot more posters than usual posting as an Anonymous Coward on this story? I wonder why...? Come on, spank monkeys, post proud!
I agree with you on the Winamp thing, as long as you're using a 2.x release. Winamp 3 was crap and Winamp 5 has some great features, but it is starting to get bloated and takes almost as long to load as WMP. Sigh.
I wish Microsoft was spending a bit more time on toning down the bloat-ware aspect of this piece of software. I've got a nice fast Athlon XP processor and a gig of RAM etc... and WMP still takes 3 or 4 seconds to get going. Not a big deal, I guess, but come on. By 1998 standards I've got a freakin' supercomputer.
What's with the mandatory i-tunes requirement to see the large screen? Very annoying for those of us that don't want yet another multimedia viewer clogging the machine. Isn't Quicktime good enough?
It's not a torrent, but a direct download link from the site. I'm currently getting around 350 KB/s as we speak.

I work for a cable company doing Internet installs, and in the 5 months that we've been using the 5100 Surboards, I've yet to replace a faulty modem. Far more reliable than the Terayons.
Amen, Brother! I used to have no problem with spiders. That is, not until I played Unreal 2. Those freakin' arachnids scared the crap out of me. I honestly look at spiders a little differently now.
Up until a few months ago, the bars in Vancouver did close at 2 am. We're now in a pilot project to study the viabilty of keeping the bars until 4 am. We're trying to overcome our draconian liquor laws and join the rest of the world in having fun past 2 am. People don't stop partying at 2, just because the bars close. A great deal of partiers just head to unregulated after-hour clubs that are a lot sketchier and a lot more dangerous than a normal bar.
I, too, live in Vancouver. We already have a couple of bars that scan your license as you enter. While I'm not completely comfortable with this, I guess I understand it. We've had more than our share of nightclub shootings recently and this would probably deter that sort of activity somewhat. I'm sick of partying downtown and feeling like some idiot is going to "go off" at any moment.

Maybe the problem with these sim games is that they're inherently boring.
You will see God.

That's it - this means war!
Does this guy work for SCO?
I was going to write a comment, but I'm sure those bastards at NASA already know what I was going to say.
The upcoming Battlefield 1942: Lord of the Rings Game will pwn all of you.
But will it let you play Halo smoothly?

I lived in Taiwan a few years ago and realized after a while that all the expats live on the 4th floor, cause we just didn't care
The above comments do NOT reflect the opinions of all Canadians. Some of us are embarrased by BNL, Nickelback, etc...

Very fast!
I was at EA Games in Burnaby, BC the other day, and they had a posting showing that BF Vietnam will be released on March 22nd.

But, does it simulate the smell of 3 days of hippies dancing?
Can someone post a Bittorrent link to this Real Life thing?

Perhaps we should require a license for AP writers. Or Windows programmers.
Where's the punchline, Fuckface?
