I posted this message because I truly believe that, for the most part, when companies try to combine gadgets like this, the end result is a sub-par piece of tech. If they quit making this shit, then maybe people like myself wouldn't feel the need to comment negatively upon it.
And the next time you have something to say, why not do it without hiding behind the AC cloak? Are you that unsure of your convictions?
Why do we always feel the need to combine all the gadgets we own into one cumbersome piece of crap that can't do any of the things it's supposed to do well?
I don't want my blender to play mp3's, and I don't need a shoe-phone, thanks very much.
Besides, if I want to trade my phone up every year or so, I sure as hell don't want to shell out for an mp3 player, as well.
If anyone can figure this one out it's Apple. Tivo is an amazing product, it just needs to be managed properly. Apple seems to be pretty good at that these days.
Wow. You Americans are fucked, and I feel bad for you. Your government is taking away you freedoms one by one, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Bush will steal this election and use the "win" as pretense to enact even more droconian laws.
Run.
The problem is that people just don't have any problems using a phone. We don't need these new little gagets. I love a new piece of tech as much as the next guy, but only if it's useful. These strike me as a gimmicky little idea whose uselessness will soon be apparent.
I think it's probably becaue it's typically seen as a gamer's tool. It's too bad, because the quality is quite good if you use a good codec, it's easy to use, and it supports conference calling. All for the low, low price of $0.
But how will I watch it on my iPod?

I'm currently dowloading at 3KB/s. I wouldnt say they've got their distribution worries sorted.
It's right below the "Gullible" mod.
Ya, totally, what crappy co... Wait a minute, I have no idea what that word-jumble means.
Yes, because without the Slashodotters talking about their favorite sites, the RIAA would never had found them. They're soooooo stupid!
If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of a million nerd's hearts breaking. Poor little guys.
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
If i Hear Fiona APPLE one more time, I'll kill myself.

You say you have a girlfriend? I seriously doubt you know much about computers, then.
Does that poster's write-up seem a little to glowing to any of you as well?
Irony. Sweet, delicious irony. So good.
The arm's race continues. Then they'll have to invent Super Turbo Quantum Mofo Encryption to stay one step ahead.
Whatever. Same diff.
Oh my god, that's terrifying. I'm supposed to go to the States next month and I'm actually a little wary to do so. Wtf?

Just the smallest amount of humour would serve you well in your life.
God bless you.
Phew, that was a tiring twelve seconds.

Sounds expensive. Last time my rocket was scrubbed and blown dry it cost me under a hundred bucks.
Can someone please dumb this down for us, well... dummies?
