How many services do they have if they have enough to be shutting down 411 services? I bet 400 of those are internal use only, like their specialty child porn searcher, and the legal torrent search which no one has any use for.
I concur... I'm not sure when lossless changed definition. Lossless refers to compression from the original source, not quality over time. Sound quality and compression aren't the same thing. There is 0 compression in a vinyl LP.
Besides, the 'loss' in an LP can often be overcome by playing on a higher quality player. If the player makes the audio 'lossy' is a raw image lossy because you display it on a 15 year old CRT monitor which causes distortion?
They want us to use a system that chose to abbreviate DRM? I hope they call it DRW when it comes out in English speaking countries, otherwise if it becomes popular, people will start WANTING DRM, and **AA type companies will misinterpret it to meaning DRM (digital rights management) on everything.

This is why I hate texting... t9 is bullshit so not many use it, then people send messages that are incomprehensible and expect immediate responses. When I'm at work talking to somebody and they keep getting distracted to reply to something not work related. I hate it all.
What does that have to do with anything? You can't buy 5 year old technology at discounted prices in countries other than America? I have a stack of P4's that are compatible with 64 bit, I'll give them to you if you pay shipping. Thank Dell and their 3 year warranty and motherboards that are guaranteed to die after 3.5 years.

Maybe I should do research, but if I have a blackberry with enterprise activation syncing with my work email, is that using a RIM owned server or a server with my company? If it is a private owned server, how can RIM give anybody access to the messages?
Also, if I use activesync on my iphone does apple have access to my messages?
That is weird that you bought a game and left the cut scene up for 4 days straight. I'm sure you could find a video clip of the cut scenes on youtube if that was all you wanted.:)
Assume IE 6 earns them 1 million activex exploits a day. If they stop using IE6. They start losing 1 million activex exploits a day. Thats the reality of the situation. If the government stops using IE6, it costs them 1 Million British fake antivirus's a day (Or whatever the current malware conversion is.)
If the citizens have a chance to repeal their laws and this is what they come up with, they must be perfect... right?
If they ever gave me a chance to do that in the US I sure wouldn't waste it on crap like that. But since it's idiot day apparently, Law of Gravity gets my vote.
Does it work with Verizon? What about Sprint? You must live in a modern country where the choice of GSM carries isn't limited to horrible (AT&T) or horrible (T-Mobile). The other providers are slightly more horrible due to them using proprietary phones. I'll take being raped by AT&T with my unlocked phone over being raped by Verizon with my Verizon phone.
I was trying to do something online once and I had to enter in my drivers license number. I'm not sure about other states, but in WA state the number starts with the first 5 letters of your last name, if you have less than 5 it puts * in it's place, the system said that was an invalid character.
Needing to have money to live on is not called "money troubles", it's called living in the normal world. "Money troubles" would mean no job, or big debt... or compulsive gambler.
How does it sync with my desktop? Will it require something on my desktop that then sends all the information from my browser to their servers? Does firefox do that currently now?
The comment was 'The first truly successful Windows operating system'. Windows operating system != GUI. Windows operating system means MICROSOFT WINDOWS.
Also, Lisa was never popular anywhere... the Macintosh was, and it ran the Mac OS, not the Lisa OS.
Firefox 14? Do you mean Firefox 1.4? I don't even remember that version.

Yes, I am joking!
Dave is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported.
I didn't mean the part of loss over time... that is definitely 'loss'. I mean... hmm, maybe I should reconsider my position.

Does DRM include DRM?
I'm imaging the point of the dog implant is as such:
Dog gets lost
Dog gets found
Dog is scanned for an ID chip
IF chip is found, return to owner on file
ELSE dog is made available to new owner
Why was this not dog not checked for implant or why weren't the owners notified prior to it being given to somebody new?

Or am I crazy to think that?

Does that mean we can have windows running on a window?
Only if those guns have recording devices attached.

The reason to keep an OLD MAC is to play games? That's like keeping an old Windows computer to be more secure. :)

Windows 7 has XP mode which is a virtual XP system built in.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/windows-xp-mode
It allows you to run software and hardware that is not windows 7 compatible. It also has built in IE 6 for anything that still requires that.
I would not have upgraded to Windows 7 if I could only run my software in XP virtual mode, I have no idea how Mac users would be OK with that.

I think you are still typing so fast you are filling the input buffer, or you have always typed bad and blamed it on the OS.
