    I'm fed up Windows Smart Phone. I've got this Samsung phone from Verizon that is running this POS OS. For phone running at 200+Mhz, the UI is sure sluggish as hell and has major lag. I've even have it crash once a week with a "watchdog stop error" or something like that.

    WTF?!!! Seriously, is this phone running Pi in the background with a high thread priority? There is NO excuse for this kinda performance for ANY operating system.

    I'm -||- that close to skipping this phone like a stone on a lake. I've about had it!

    I don't see any reason why a straight gas car can't do over 100 MPG, given the right fuel.


    It's not going to happen, ever. Even the new hybrids are being reported to has a standard 25-35MPG rating due to users aggressive driving habbits. Now if you drive the hybrids as they are intended and not tourque the throttle so much, you will get twice it's intended rating.

    It's all about bragging rights. Also known as "bigger penis" syndrome.

    Regardless of what is being bought in an open and free market, if both the seller and purchaser are pleased with the transaction and no ill effects come of it (such in the case with drugs), then I don't see the problem.

    And ya, people just love to 1up eachother to boost their own self esteem.

    Exactly.

    So when installing applications for Linux (and not off it's own destro) becomes as easy as Windows, let me know. Also, I want to be able to install that application in the same way on any verion of Linux as well.

    Linux will always be the miniority in the consumer market unless "official" standards are in place for a GUI and and program management for all versions and destros of Linux.

    I work for TWC. Just thought I'd let you know. And no, we don't monitor BT traffic. We WANT customers, not turn them away. That said however, we will give out a notice to our customers that use excessive bandwidth throughout the month. That is to say, you have a 24/7 connection up and running that is maxing out your bandwidth.

    I think the poor moderation of your post backs up exactly what your saying. Sir, I've given up trying to educate liberals. They will not listen to reason.

    Rush Limbaugh is correct. Liberals look at the world throught the lens of fear, hopelessness, hatred, and desperation. In fact, American liberalism is more like a mental virus. One that continues to spread on the internet. Only this one knows no boundries, computers, or OS. May they all see the light one day.

    As for the democratic party, it's already emploding. Untill internal reform happens for this party, I can't imagine anyone wanting to vote after the success GWB is being praised for in spreading democrocy for the people, and by the people of Iraq.

    Actually, the two DO go togeather. Prison is SUPPOSED to be a deterrent. Prison is NOT supposed to be a place of free shelter with feature comforts. It's supposed to be harsh as hell.

    In fact, rather then having prisoners rott away and spending my tax dollars, I would rather the system mirror that of what happens in Singapore. That is to say if you rob a store, you should have your ass beaten till skin breaks. I mean, total pain and torture...but not enough to physically mame you for life. Just enough to drill it in your thick skull that it is NOT ok to do crime.

    We are all children in life. The only difference is some of us learn our leasons in life so as not to repeat them as we get older.

    If your working on a PC that has SP2 and suspect spyware infestation...Try this command.

    netsh winsock reset catalog

    If you work for any ISP support, then you will know usefull this command is for resetting the winsock stack in the registry back to factory defaults. Note: ask the customer if they have any other firewall installed other then the native one that came with XP or you might just really fuck things up.

    I actually like the PDF format (can't stand the Adobe company though). But what really drives me up the wall is the damn PDF links that do NOT let me download, but auto-magically opens up Acrobat reader while the file is in the middle of downloading. I HATE THAT!
