    pardon my french, but in all honesty FUCK every large corporation. all they are after is our money (duh) so why should we feel ANY sympathy towards them? they dont care if we live, die, are happy or sad. if it makes us happy to coppy cds and hand them out to (or sell!) our friends then SO BE IT!

    i will never feel bad for buying a cd, then doing whatever the hell i please with it. this goes for DVDs, software, anything that i BUY with my own money, and i will never feel like a theif for doing so.

    think about this, pharmeceutical companies are a business. they dont CARE about curing people, they care about you buying their drugs.

    you think if they had a cure for cancer, or, how about a not-so-sensitive condition, herpes.

    you think if they had a cure for herpes they would be quick to sell it?

    "here, take THIS medication once and never have to buy it from us again, or take THIS medication for the rest of your life, paying us all the while..."

    screw them.

STOP THE WAR ON DRUGS! aside from the millions+ dollars spent out of this country to get rid of drug manufacturers, lets put an end to a significant amount of violent crime at home! decriminalize all drugs, make them available to adults for personal use. regulate their sale.

    i disagree. version numbers before 1.0 let you know that the software isnt officially "ready" for usage by the general public. its ready for people to use it, to report bugs and look for problems, and its also available to who ever wants it. its the developers saying, heres our software, it still has a few problems we are working on, and some we may not know about. 1.0 is for the masses. pre 1.0 is almost like beta software.

    tracers are not flashbacks. MANY people have lsd like tracers (albeit not as intense) regularly. usually this is early in the morning after waking up, or right before going to bed. peeople who have never used lsd have tracers as well. anyway, having visual tracers is not having a flashback.

    it makes perfect sense. you are using THEIR hardware. you dont own it. unless there is some sort of contract that guarantees privacy, you just dont have it. i run my own email server, now while i do not read my users messages, it is still on MY hardware, that I manage and that I maintain. i feel i have every right to access those email messages if i had a need too....such as a possible terms of service violation.

    no you cant be put into jail for not showing id. if an officer asks for ID and you dont have it, that is not breaking the law. if you do however refuse to tell them your name, then they have the power to DETAIN you and bring you to the station, so your identification can be asertained. also, if you dont have id, and you DO tell them who you are, they STILL have the power to detain you to "REALLY" find out who you are.

    if you ctrl c something then highlight something you may find you will have two different things you can now paste. using ctrl v, you will paste what you copied with ctrl c, and using middle click you will paste what youve copied with selecting. its like having two clipboards, makes it even better!
