have you ever heard a military band. No-one would want to listen to it - all that pomp and circumstance, marching and twirling, land ob hope and glory...
Scientific studies have demonstrated that approximately two-thirds of all human cancer cells have an activated Ras pathway, one of the most common set of mutations leading to cancer.
That's why this shouldn't be patented to death. No one is going to make millionaires out of the scientists that did the lead up work for all of this. Basic research is usually about discovering how things work. While not directly leading to a marketable drug, that marketable drug wouldn't have even gotten to the planning stage with out the (often publicly funded) basic research by equally hardworking scientists.
I thought that we were required to enrol when we turn 18, but they don't mention it at all. Interesting. Also, I was removed from the roll after not voting in the 1986 (I think) election. I was too drunk that day:-) . After getting all civic-minded in 2000, i re-enrolled. No hassles, no penalties. Just a warm inner glow... from the tequila.
When using my USB memory stick-thing (128 MB), my G4 is MUCH slower than the work-PC plus the G4 seems to choke on transferring large (50 MB) files or even numerous files that add up to 50 MB+.
I haven't done any timings, but this may turn out to be an Apple issue at the core (hahaha a joke!) of it.
INTERESTING FOOTNOTE: going here reveals that USB1 has two possible speeds: 12 Mbps and 1.5 Mbps. Perhaps the transfer speed being employed is the lower of the two...
(*Disclaimer: must be a Telstra customer who likes music published by the Warner label, slathered in Microsoft DRM at $20 an album. Apart from that, it's all good.)
I'm using iTunes on XP while sitting behind a very restrictive firewall and I can't get out. Mind you, I can't get out with anything (e.g. WMP, Real, QT Player although QT movs embedded in a web page are fine, Music Match track name lookups ) except a browser. If iTunes uses anything besides port 80, that could be the problem.
Well, by the DMCA, you'd have to prove that your spam filtering mechanism is a viable, useful, and halfway smart idea.
If those-in-charge can apply the DMCA to DVD encryption using the-very-easily-broken-CSS (or even using the SHIFT key to circumvent a CD "copy-protection" system), then it should also apply to a spam filter, no matter how lame it is.
I have had tinnitus ever since seeing Suicidal Tendencies at a Livid Festival a few years ago. Wasn't worth it. Now if I go to a concert, I take earplugs. I suspect the musicians use them too.
"Fanned"? You're weird.
Is this really a new thing for Apple? I'd be pretty sure that the Big Cheese (soya cheese, of course) would have been doing this for years. And what's good for the tofu-turkey...
No-one seriously drinks XXXX. It's OK for really hot summer days, but then so is camel's piss.
As for Fosters: what we call Fosters isn't the same as the Fosters sold overseas. What they get is Crown Lager sold under a Fosters label. And we ALL like crownies.
It mightn't be in the "home video production" realm but Shake, now brought to you by your favourite fruit company, can distribute rendering tasks.
iMovie can't be far behind...
You can't actually "register" a religion in Australia. I think the census guys just wanted to scare people away from giving a bogus answer. Remember, answering the religion question is OPTIONAL.
I have it on good authority (i.e. a mate who did the CUB tour) that what we call Crown Lager here is what CUB markets as Fosters overseas. So OS Fosters might be worth drinking, unlike the camel piss that it tastes like here.
Still, even Fosters was a change from XXXX, XXXX and more bloody XXXX here in Kweenzland.
Bugger it. Just drink Coopers.

Dreamweaver does not build annoying bloated webpages.
No, that's what we use FrontPage for. Have you seen the crap the FP creates. Blurg...
Is this place of any use to you?
Won't have to wait long m8.
Telstra is starting our very own downunder ripper bonza online music service*.

Greetings, non-internet person. Allow me to introduce you to Google.
10. People who want to work with their computers, not on them.
And "god" is an anagram of "dog". So what... Does that mean if I played my death metal records backwards, I'd convert to Christianity?

Unless Coopers is available...
vast majority of our collection consists of underground experimental music
Why did I get a mental image of a scientist in a sewer pipe playing a trombone?
Oh. That's why.
