    Well the idea is that you can really honor the one installed copy philosophy by passing the game on after 2 days (which is what I did).

    You're right though- I was sorely disappointed by the fact that custom designs ended up having little to do with gameplay. sad sad sad.

    Ok, really, honestly- often the trouble with DRM isn't that you can't use it now, it's that you don't own it later. It works for now...why would you expect anyone who DIDN'T UNDERSTAND the system to complain?

    Everything consumer is going to SDHC with USB mass storage for transfer. Especially anything AVCHD.

    I'll miss Firewire but only because I can't plug my audio interface into usb.

    Maybe it'd be better to improve hibernate. Not saying this is bad but when I'm in MacOS X I only really do restarts for system updates.

    Which reminds me, why dies Firefox still install as "Mozilla Firefox" by default?? Can we please all agree that it's a bad idea to put the Company name, year-after-release, version number and product line in the name of an program? Let's just leave the name the name.

    At least GIMP has that going for it. Or am I just totally wrong?

    I always thought mL per minute would be a more useful measurement. It'd certainly be more informative for idling and acceleration and it's not like the two are mutually exclusive.

    Yeah, I'm just hoping that the Android dev tools make it easy to create a beautiful UI. And hope that developers take the time to do that. I think Apple could figure out a less draconian way to handle this. Mostly I sympathize with the developers.

    Which makes me wonder why ICANN doesn't require any significant ID verification for domain registration. I know there's reasons not to (you can mention them below if you like), but it would make life a lot easier in a lot of ways if new registrations had to verify their identity before the domain would go live. At least prosecuting fraud would be easier. And if a registrar didn't do their homework properly they could just lose their license. Hmm
