And yet, no-one's asked is it really the keyboards/mice that are the main cause of RSI with computers? I've only seen claims spring up since the birth of the web. Coincidence, no?
Seriously, it looks as if it would only benefit touch typists, not the masses of two fingered typists out there. As for me, well, my keyboards so close to the edge of my desk I have no space for one. Plus, I wouldn't want to bend my thumbs that far back
Can't be any worse than the number of CDs I've had to fish out from 5 1/2" floppy drives. If it's not going to be backward compatible, change the shape by all means.
With the release of 6.5.23, there is no kernel for the Indys or Indigo/Indigo 2s and a few other older machines - paerhaps in a few moinths time we could petition SGI to release more hardware docs to the open source OS teams (Debian-Mips, Netbsd/sgimips) working on porting their os's to the older hardware - then IMD4Linux would actually have a use in emulating the desktop on a maintained OS for the classic SGIs.
Hmm, ever thought about writing in and complaining? If enough of us did that, we might be able to stop the twit wasting our licence fees on writing rubbish like this.
In case you didn't know, the guy's referring to the fact that the Hutton report pushed out the top people at the BBC, and that it now looks as if the independance of the BBC is under threat... especially as the report is seen as a whitewash, totally clearing the government of any wrongdoing of it's intelligence in the run up to the iraq war, and not being guilty in any way of causing one of their weapons experts to take his life, even though they revealed his name to the press without telling him first. The BBC took the blame for most of the government's lies, and so this is why its independance is seen to be under threat.

There was a gameboy sequel, but it aparrently was a huge letdown - and I can understand why, too, I'd hate squinting at a screen that small, and not being able to use a keyboard:P
...the programmers who work on popup blocking at AOL/Google/MozillaFirebird'll just work a bit harder and eventually stop their uber-popups from coming through. The era of the pop-up/under/other sort of spawning window is coming to a well-overdue end.
It's just not the same... and the poor children who are doing this will probably never realise they're filling tohe roles of characters that have been the fantasies of many, many sad, depraived anime otakus out there...
They replaced the maglev tracks in Birmingham and we now have a non-maglev train operating between Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International station which gets there in about one and a half minutes. Also it now looks nicer, but they now have a PA system and a TFT display in there playing really annoying adverts whilst you are being transported.
Yes, but some people are fundamentally lazy. And teaching your great-grandmother to type at 60wpm may take some doing.

With sonicstage jukebox, and the conversion to ATRAC, it didn't make deep inroads. Still, with a microphone makes a useful audio recorder.
Let me guess: You then attach all your floppies to a whiteboard with magnets?
A slightly more common method: Buy the cheapest Dual-Layer DVD media you can find, and leave it out in the sunlight for a while.
Anyhow, you'd most likely lose the microwire before you could attempt to read it.

They're also sending hundreds people here to mine the diamonds for them.
...It looks like this farce coming ever closer to the end!

All we need is a matching filesystem visualiser then :D

What about the freebies?
Yeah, unfortunately, there are no surfaces in space, so you're stuck with a touchpad or trackerball.

Yeah, but the ftp link wasn't working last time I tried. Shame, too, I've got an indy here working as a server.
Give me your consoles. You can't have console clutter without consoles.

Optimist. They're going to decide to change the engine the game will use twice and end up in the same place.
