    Lets see, at 700 MB each, that works out to about 1700 movies. Plus about 3,000 songs. Sounds good enough for me.

    Not anymore, since version 3.0, you can have separate users. Remember, Lindows is still a young distro, and it will continue to get better. Plus Lindows is easier to switch to than most distos, except possibly Redhat (Slackware, Mandrake)

    In order not to recieve spam on my primary account, I registered for some accounts to use whenever I had to give an email to a questionable entity. In order to support these free accounts, they tell you in advance that they're sponsors will send you emails. Some example of these are yourmom.com, beer.com, and rock.com.

    forget a lawsuit. fine the maker of the software for each copy of an OS or other piece of software that propogates a bug. After all, the OS belongs to MS. I only have a license.

    I agree computers should be shipped with beacons.

    They should make sure that Windows products cannot be loaded onto computers.

    aha. I knew there had to be another use for p2p networks.

    If the RIAA is correct in claiming that p2p networks are used in porn sharing, then there is another legit use, which is chosen by many people for products like kaaza etc..


    as such, the spread of these products should be allowed to continue, b/c they are not meant to steal music.
