San Diego-based Qualcomm argued in a letter to the DHS that its software to run mobile communications devices should qualify because the 450,000 commercial trucks equipped with such devices "are uniquely positioned to report terrorist events."
Will someone please get the US a nice warm glass of milk and some cookies so he can relax, lie down, and get some well needed rest
Same thing applies to beer. Here in Australia Miller, Bud Weiser and the European brands are considered "boutique". Then if you go to London say I think you find that the Aussie staple VB beer is their boutique beer. Grass is always greener...
Not entirely true e.g. can they tell you to piss off out of THEIR casino because they don't like your color? When they accept you as a player there should be a contractual obligation i.e. the rules, that both parties must stick to. Legally morally whatever it isn't right for them to happily take your money while you're losing and then when your own nouse gets you up on them they can just say sorry get out of here.
Isn't outlawing card counting kind of like outlawing a certain thought process? I mean even with kiddie molesters we still wait till they make take some kind of action the actual thinking about it isn't illegal (yet). It's like if someone can count cards they have to play stoopid to do it lawfully, "yeah I know there's lots of tens left, but I'll stand anyway don't want to cheat you guys". Maybe it should be casino policy that u has a sub 90 IQ or submit to a lobotomy before you can enter the casino.
Yeah but I think it is legal also for the casino to throw them out, you know, for winning. Management reserves the right to refuse entry. Maybe the counting being legal just means they can't take their winnings when they have gotten away with it.
Rubbish. Sure for a given pixel count sthe Foveon will provide a greater true resolution, however the technology does not allow the CCD (or CMOS) sensors to be packed as tightly, hence you don't see any multi-megapixel (6+) sensors on the market at the moment. Which image has a better resolution: a RGB type sensor with 10 megapixels downsized to 3 megapixels, or a Foveon 3 megapixel image? Given the other problems the Foveon has which have been mentioned here (noise and whatever else) the former gives a better result.
Yeah right, and when people make jokes about hairdressers giving head jobs that discriminates against hetrosexuals (or hairdressers?). And then you've got nail "technicians" giving hand jobs, discriminating against every teenage boy. Someone should mod you idiot.
In Australia us law abiding citizens aren't allowed to posess bullet proof vests either, but then I guess there is that originating from convicts thing isn't there

I had to think about this for 2 minutes before realising it wasn't just a lame joke about South Australia tap water.
