I understand the need to keep an eye on the perverts who pass themselves off as artists
Why?
Cops should deal with perverts who touch kids. Victimless crimes are just tools for fearmongering politicians to get the attention and votes of self-centered parents.
I keep Windows software off of my Linux work environment in general, too. Unfortunately, my coworkers have a tendency to send me spreadsheets with more than 2^16 rows. This requires Office 2007. At least, it won't work on OOo 3 or Gnumeric.
Prostitutes exist with or without Craigslist; it is not a "source" and it does not create prostitutes. They'd be out walking the street if Craigslist didn't give them somewhere safe to advertise. I'd much rather keep them on the web than on my sidewalk.
It feels like religion/morals is the justification they use for all of their decisions here in the States. As an American, an atheist, and a college graduate it really bothers me that it feels like everything is justified by a religion rather than logic. Didn't these guys study formal logic in law school?
Unfortunately, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" is not the same as "Congress shall make no law whose only justification is an establishment of religion"
It's SIMD. It's a simple set of instructions running on a whole lot of little sets of data. This is the same thing video cards do and it is a great way to solve (some) problems.
ATI's binary drivers actually work, too. They had problems in the past, but I've recently bought a new card from ATI to replace my Nvidia card and I can say easily that they both work very well with the binary drivers.
That's beside the point, though. We're talking about open drivers.
Also, ATI has open source 2D drivers and just yesterday released specs that should allow for good open source 3D drivers. Sometime in the next 6 months, their graphics cards should support OpenCL, too. ATI is the way to go for open hardware support at the moment.
Ugh, yeah we use PHP here. Something about having a language that's so easy to use makes people think that every PHP app is as simple as making a three table database with a form on a webpage.
I like to ask "What is your favorite programming language?"
Not everyone will have one, but everyone who's written many programs will have things that they prefer about some language. Also, it makes interviews go faster because "rubyonrails" is not a programming language. Ruby could be a valid answer and Rails could be a nice framework to talk about when explaining the answer, but it's not a language and that should be clear to anyone who knows what a programming language is.
How old are these girls? 16?
I wouldn't become involved with them in person. I also do not recommend that they take erotic photos of themselves.
On the other hand, I bet they don't actually look like children.

Next thing you know you have a bunch of websites that are cracked and freelance developers can charge big bucks to fix.
FTFY
Danger and opportunity are often the same!

News about new minicomputers would've been great if this was 1965!
Linux was already wooing the girlfriend.
I think this might be a bad analogy.
Maybe he's talking about being a sysadmin. In that case, I'll draw another comparison to the circus and call them trained monkeys.
Perhaps the users are getting slimmer, but neckbeards are prevalent as ever!
The sad thing is most Americans don't even know which party is in control in Washington.

I don't think a VM is the right place to be trying to play videos.

Troll the patent trolls
So we shitpost in all of their threads?
Hope this turns out better than Windows Defender!

This would be ironic if we weren't expecting Google to do it. I guess I wasn't, so it is a bit ironic.
It certainly enhances my pizza eating ability.

Cannabis/Marijuana is carcinogenic, and about four times as carcinogenic as tobacco.
There's other ways to get high besides smoking, you know.
Don't worry. Obama's taking care of everything singlehandedly!
whoosh
