This was also used in F-Zero X for N64. The difference between driving the game like a grandma and an expert had on the AI was as much as 50 seconds on the AI's total race time. Also, I recall a vector game I used to play on MAME every now and then that had a setting on the dip switch for difficulty called "Adaptive". The game was from the early 80's, so it was probably one of the first attemps at such a thing in video games. Unforunately, I didn't notice any difference between the difficulties when playing.
By banning a game loved by gamers everywhere (that isn't about Haitians), a Haitian group will only direct more negative attention to Haitians than the game ever would have.
I don't play MMORPG's because I don't wanna pay to play something I've already bought. Same with XM radio. The biggest jump for me is the leap of faith that I'll like the music. I listen to my local college station so I can get in some good punk rock listening. When they're not on the air, I usually do classical. Since I'm sure they have classical, it begs the question:
Do they have a punk station? If so, what kind of punk?
Now I imagine the Gov't will start giving free Wi-Fi access just to have a little better big-brother type of hold on us here in the "land of liberty". *sigh*
WON still works from what I've heard. Steam works just fine for me and it only really had problems when everybody was switching and it got overloaded. They say they won't remove WON until Steam is working like it's supposed to work reliably.
You can run the original with WINE (not wineX) just fine, but the anti-cheat will say you're cheating. I don't know if Steam (the new frontend thingy) will work or not. Just play single player or join servers that aren't running anti-cheat and you're set. Linux Games has a hosted site or something on the toolbar to the left that has detailed intructions that are updated fairly regularly for playing Half-Life with WINE.
Don't forget Battlefield mods! Homefront was released today, and the new Desert Combat was released not too long ago as well. Also, another patch with significant content upgrades to the BF core game is set to come out soon.
Well, it can run both since it will automagically install and configure LILO for you, which is something that is often understated by Linux distros. One of the scariest things about trying Linux is not having the absolute certainty that Windows will remain intact.
GTA is totally different. It's the same idea: go on missions, steal cars, fuck shit up. It's fun for a while but GTA3 is much better. It's a top-down perspective pseudo-3d game. It's still very violent and humorous, but the gameplay is lacking. The biggest problems are bad framerate (on my p4 1.7 with gf2), bad camera, and getting lost in the city is way too easy. It's still worth a free download though. Lots of people like it more than I.

Yes...cover our asses. In so doing we will prevent the Chinese from ever getting to the moon! Ha!
...the computer game plays with you!

Dammit!
Mr. Chekov: Keptin! Our orbit is decaying!
Kirk: More power to the impulse engines!
Scotty: That's all she can take, cap'n!

Sounds like it could hurt you and your equipment pretty easily. Better not spring a leak!
Is it just me, or are the trolls getting worse?
I don't understand. How does Linux produce the heat to make the balloon rise? Remove the CPU fan or something?
WIth rocket cameras, helicopter cameras, and kite cameras, it's a wonder I haven't seen any model airplane cameras yet. Now that would be neat.
So, poppy sort of punk. What about 1977 style punk and hardcore punk?

Pair this style of game with a Dance Dance Revolution type of thing and you could have a Backstreet Boys training simulator!
The big problem with a Nohmad was that it could only be bought at Toys 'R Us. Talk about cutting down your own market!
I heard the pocket PS is going to ship with Duke Nukem Forever.
My post was sort of half-a-joke, but yeah, they'd do it in a heartbeat. At least this place has meta-mods.

Isn't Dragon Quest called Dragon Warrior in the USA?
I play CS. If you want a game that requires teamwork, play America's Army. 1 guy can throw the whole game in CS. Why? It's just a team deathmatch.
Remember, there's no point to Counter-Strike, either. No story, no rewards. Just fun shooting and watching pretty blood splatter from emptied heads.
