How about buying CD's from bands that aren't from the RIAA? I like punk rock, and most of the good honest punk rock bands aren't on the RIAA. If you're not sure who is (it can be hard to tell) try here and it'll tell you if they're part of the cartel. Good Stuff.
On election day (the big one), you'll see in the key red for Republicans, blue for Dems, and green for Greens. What you never hear from the main media outlets on TV is that Libertarians typically get twice the popular vote of the Greens with less than half the air time! Proposterous!
Yeah...I guess it will be really good though if they can challenge ATI and NVidia by writing drivers that don't cheat. It'll be good if they write good Linux and *BSD drivers like NVidia does and not leaving people high and DRI.
As long as Linux has hardcore gurus, there will be hardcore distros. It's just that you can't get as many potential hardcore gurus that are willing to dive right in as you would if you offer a gradual approach.
You can't start off as a purist. If not for Mandrake and the confidence its foolproof GUI tools gave me, I never would've tried Linux. I can't just go out and break my computer; I need my computer. The reason to install a new OS is to make the machine do more, not stop working altogether. Mandrake lets you start using Linux and get comfortable before moving up in the world.
Will these DVD's play on all decent players? It doesn't really matter how cheap these are until they actually work. Last I heard about these devices is that there's many formats what aren't interchangeable.
Think about it like this: You don't buy every game on the list. It's just a recommendation. Perhaps they recommend some RPG's, but you hate RPG's. Cut those off. Suppose they recommend game X, but you hate game X. Cut that off. It's a bunch of opinions arranged in such a way as to give diversity for different players and their tastes. They want the largest reader base possible, so they'll try to appeal to the most number of people.
Why do PS2's still sell so big? I just don't get it. Both X-Box and Gamecube boast more powerful hardware than the PS2. The Gamecube costs less, has 4 control ports, and gets lots of good exclusive games from Nintendo. The X-Box has those controller ports, a hard drive, Halo, and just about every PS2 game has an X-Box version. There's just no reason to the madness!
It's crazy to expect an online-only title for a console! Besides that bit of obviousness, one of the best things about bf1942 is the great mod scene. That can't happen on a PS2. Oh well...they'll still try. Hopefully it'll have the great single player game that bf1942 does not.
Forever, it appears to me. Nintendo has always taken good care of its customers, even re-writing bad cartridges for NES up until a few months ago. I doubt they'd ruin the fun on something that's not going to cut in on their profits, and may indeed increase sales of broadband adapters and LAN games.

No, it's not that. This one had a tornado and a wiza...Wizard of Oz! That's it!
Well, I for one welcome our rusted, mechanical overlords.
The one with the yellow brick road...ahh what's it called...??!!
"...dishwater"
This problem is compounded by the mass media:
On election day (the big one), you'll see in the key red for Republicans, blue for Dems, and green for Greens. What you never hear from the main media outlets on TV is that Libertarians typically get twice the popular vote of the Greens with less than half the air time! Proposterous!
I started my school's chess club; I make the rules. :-)
...why is it needed to run things like a bunch of stupid little LED's? Couldn't a much smaller solution be used in those cases?
I'll have to try this at my next chess club meeting at school!

Without some razzle-dazzle high end cards to "wow" people with, they probably won't get the publicity needed to sell these midrange cards.
This isn't exactly usual Slashdot fare...
You forget that whatever the Jews do, the Arabs do the opposite.
Easy to use and Debian based? Why would anyone use this when there's a free distro called Mepis that appears to do all of this already?

That pales in comparison to a potential answer...
Q"What distro would you use without Mandrake?"
A"Caldera"

He was probably prodding at the amount of spam sent from those accounts, not the amount received when using them.

So this cert is basically just a bunch of bribing shit? Just buy their little logo to put on your website?

Does it work with the Christmas edition bass???
