    I'm sorry but you are wrong here, you are at Apple mercy. If they choose to drop the support for the OS, to stop the development, or to include a backdoor in their OS you have no say in that matter.

    I'm sorry but I can't see where he steps over the boundaries of others, but I clearly see where you do exactly that when you imply that he suffers from Asperger's Syndrome.

    Ah... California.... memories...

    I remember the day when US started to bomb Serbia, on 5 major channels for 3 hours they showed a 30 mph car chase (it was during rush hour) of a guy who "stole" his own car, at news this was the fist item, the last one was a 10 seconds piece of information that NATO airplains from Aviano have started to bomb Belgrade -- talking about priorities.

    I switched to Abiword exactly because of that reason. However I discovered oooqs program (OOo Quick Starter) for KDE and I switched back to OOo. OpenOffice starts now in 2 seconds, that's good enough for me.

    This is a great article that shows what a Desktop Linux could do. It's a great piece for Linux advocates to forward to people who'd like to switch but think that "Linux is way too hard to install and use".

    0$ price it's very hard to beat, I expect that the forces of the economy will swipe MS away as soon that people realize that they could do with Linux the same things they do with Windows (only more secure and cheaper) . Good times ahead :)
