  1. Actually in the case of delivery drivers, cameras mounted all around and inside the cargo area for security reasons, quite reasonable, just not the drivers compartment. Really the cheapest thing to do, data storage is pretty cheap, recording it pretty cheap, and problem solved. Keep the videos records for thirty days post delivery to resolve any delivery disputes, overall a pretty sound solution, video record all deliveries, done and finished.

Want to see change in the advertising model, makes those selling advertising, legally liable, by Xiaomi's own mouth, for the products they recommend. Every company, every blog, anyone who shows a product or service recommendation for profit, liable for the failure of that product or service.

Why the fuck should companies who profit by recommending shit product be free from the legal liability for that failed product, how the fuck did they escape that, they are selling it, they should be liable for it. So when companies are sued for failed product, those who advertised it, are also sued and all the victims have access to their pockets as well. Why can't you sue google when it recommends crap on it's advertising platform, they are selling it to you, targeting your personally, manipulating your choice, where the fuck is their legal responsibility for the qualities of the products or services they sell on their advertising platform, corruptly absent it would seem.

Even when they sell it directly https://www.smh.com.au/money/b..., they still claim innocence. Google should be hit in the courts for this, right alongside the fraudster, the executive who approved the sale, should enjoy a custodial sentence for their criminal negligence or were they paid to allow the product to be sold, well they were paid, they are professionals, they are experts and they were 100% criminally negligent and should get a major fine, a major civil suit by those banks for damaged reputation and a custodial sentence for whom ever at Google was involved.

We will fit which ever tablet from the manufacturer that provides us the most cash and is not dick brained about it or pisses off our customers.

A standard on connectors gives the automotive manufacturers the whip hand, they can always swap out tablets and if the shit really hits the fan, they can recall the vehicle, pull out the existing tablet and fit a new brand, to many screams of anguish from the existing content seller controller. Hell people could get a cheap one standard, keep it as a spare and put in a much better one.

What ever they should do, they should not listen to Google, evil is as evil does. They should go with an open standard for a vehicle tablet connector and have the tablet manufacturers always competing, that is the only smart decision to make. So a vehicle industry connector and mounts, connectors for temperature sensors and controls, probably a vehicle speed input, connectors for speakers, and probably a digital output for an amplifier and camera inputs, maybe an antennae jack, probably a microphone connector.

Honestly if it controls nothing in the vehicle beyond the vehicles speakers it would probably make the most sense, keeps it by far the simplest and cheapest and most reliable for the auto manufacturer themselves and some companies will pay to have their tablet fitted and if it is shit the customer can just pop it on out and buy another and pop that one in. That would be smart thinking and fuck alphabet and google.

Fuck all the hassle of a media centre, far simpler to to create a vehicle tablet dock standard, done and finished, apart from bragging about your extra special amplifier and speakers, far more sensible (offer a full range of tablets pre-fitted, customer choice, means you will not lose customers who own existing content with other suppliers, see smart thinking not the lies Google will feed you).
