In a more sound psychological assessment. More intelligent people are much more aware of the extreme harms caused by psychopathic capitalism, it's willingness to feed upon humanity to sate it's greed and ego. This broad based extremely abusive harm is felt by them, even when they have the intellect and ability to keep it at a safe distance, they still suffer the continuous aggravation of being subject to it due to reasoned empathy.
The worst thing about it, a lot of it is based upon empty beliefs, the majority will act upon any kind of crazy assed belief, in the past, even ones that would get people like us burned at the stake. Living in that kind of crazy society awash it idiotic beliefs is extremely disturbing, only mitigated by not taking it too seriously, meh, pack of crazy assed mud monkeys what the fuck will they worship next;D.
People forget patents are governed by treaty in order to be multi-national. So the mess lies in around sovereignty with a lack of treaty to cover patents. As everyone knows treaties between, the immigrant protestant United States of America and the original nations United States of America, are totally worthless and over ridden at whim for profit, so that lack of treaty brought about by the pointlessness of treaties, lead to the loop hole, that could be temporarily exploited. The solution, they are only native Americans, we need no stinking treaty, what for, we will break them any how, so they are breaking the principles of treaties with sovereign nations right off the get go. This is also nothing unusual for the USA, just look at Syria, even when fully exposed for supporting terrorism, they still do it in full public view, attacking anyone who attacks their terrorist with their embedded US military terrorist organisers and arms and viagra suppliers.
I don't want George Orwell's 1984 big brother monitoring and communicating with me 24/7. I prefer a hard wired on off switch, they I activate when I want it and when I don't it is off, zero power going through it circuits it is off and it is anonymous when it is on unless I specifically choose to identify myself for what ever reason I choose. Always on, always invasive is totally undesirable and should be illegal.
End user experience not even mentioned. How about I am looking at more than one site at a time and one site is crippling the user experience of other sites because rendering has been borked by a mining currency. Believe me, every site I catch is dead, blocked for ever. Ain't your right to fuck with my computer usability, that has now be crippled because your piece of shit program is purposefully killing CPU accessibility. Sites that do this are as good as gone because they do right royally fuck up computer usability.
They try to pretend they are only taking up a tiny portion of computer capability, rather than the reality of trying to hog it all and render the computer unusable slow and borked up, until the script is killed. That's the reality.
Not all task cab be reinforcement learning tasks but all task can be broken down into reinforcement learning subtasks. Your thoughts and deeds are not the singular actions you think they are, they are a composite of many inputs, feeding into many thought recurrent though processes, circulating through many decision trees, and that continuously composite of results, leading to actions to be taken. So each sub task can be learnt, the composition of sub tasks can be learnt, once each sub task has been learnt, well maybe, insufficient sub tasks learnt and the composite will fail. Some sub-tasks can fail if the remaining sub tasks can take over or if a new subtask can be created on the fly and incorporated into the composite.
You need sufficient development in AI so as to be able to create computer controlled players that act like real players, otherwise matchmaking time blows out. Basically scamming psychopaths who like to win regardless of how but selling them an unbeatable advantage putting them against bots that pretend to be real and complain when the psychopaths plays them. Psychopath stops spending, they stop winning and get the insults, behavioural patterns demand they respond and must win and they do it by spending more.
For normal players, winning easy is boring, never winning is boring, grindy game and you want me to pay so that I don't have to play the game as much makes no sense, I'll just stop playing the game, why pay to not play it. I only do coop because PvP can to readily be turned into a psychological manipulative scam. I like to win, to win, I must deny those I play against their pleasure from winning, I know this and it kills PvP for me, not to forget the inherent scam of matchmaking. PvP normally means putting players in matches who do not buy stuff against players who do and normally one or two levels down, so basically they are target bots, War Thunder is renowned for doing this (why bother, two levels down as a target drone or two levels up as a nothing buying wins). They target this stuff at children of course, to scam them out of their pocket money, oh my, how proud those adults must be to scam children's pocket money, shameless psychopaths.
Ohh fuck off. Places of work are not school yards, as long as it does not get out of hand, lead to physical conflict of disrupt productivity, grow the fuck up and get back to work. Not every fucking place on the planet has to be PC, nor can it be, just the way it is. Keep in mind they have a right to their culture as well, their natural coarseness, it is who they are and you are just being racist against their culture.
At one point eventually you have to accept adults are adults and must accept adult responsibilities, some stupid words should not drive everything, fuck off with the bullshit. Clearly people being fired are being backed by lawyers for a clearly aimed attack on Tesla. OHHHH NOESSS mommy, the other workers are picking on me, fuck off and grow up, don't interact with the other workers, focus on you job and get it done.
Factory work is shit work, make no mistake, any one who pretends different is a liar or has never done it (still lying though, they just wont admit it). It is the work causing the problem not the people's attitudes, it is shit work, mindless drone shit and subject people to that and they will play out of boredom. PC on building sites has short shrift, I could image supervising a building site to have a contractor run up to me to complain about some of the other workers calling them a dirty name. My response, fuck off and grow up, your an adult deal with it like an adult. My response with the other workers, stop picking on the fruit loop they are annoying me, they would laugh or most likely probably insult me like there was no tomorrow, I would laugh and tell them in turn "yeah right fuck off you pack of arse holes". Some places of work are adults only, not the school, not the hospital, not the office but factories and building sites, you betcha, can't stand on your own as an adult, be some body else's problem.
You would most definitely be harassing people if you deny them their natural, normal behaviour. If it gets out of hand you clamp down ie affects productivity or leads to physical violence. How to deal with physical violence, well, it is different in Australia, as a victim of a crime you report it, you do not press charges, the police do that, you are only a witness, so ultimate warning, stop fucking around, otherwise next bit of violence and I will call the coppers and let them deal with you idiots (dependent upon injuries).
Don't like my way, fuck off you fairy fuckers, on the building site you are up to neck in testosterone, don't deal with it right and you become subject to physical attack and make no mistake it becomes routine handle more confrontational work places, always testing for weakness. Words do not hurt as much as the fairies claim they do, people ganging up hurts, confrontational harassment hurts, words only hurt if you let them hurt, grow the fuck up.
Not the typical drone design with shrouded blades and snaps apart (bits flying off reduce impact from bulk bits). The safety elements incorporated in this design is clearly the reason for acceptance, this really needs to be pointed out, vs idiots who take an drone with exposed blade amongst people.
With the current state of software warranties, I could not imagine how insurance against hacking events could possibly exist. The initial assessment actively threatens the employment of IT staff, they are being judged and make no mistake, first on the audit list, fire and hire. That also plays out to the rest of staff, as any employee with access to at risk hardware can trigger a security breach.
Sure I could imagine fly by night insurance who take premiums and never make payouts, using lawyers to fend them off for as long as possible whilst still collecting premiums and hugely inflated executive salaries and who bail to tax haves just before the company goes belly up (don't scoff in the era of rising sea levels that kind of insurance will appear for every coastal city on the planet, they'll set up subsidiaries they can extract profits from and then set adrift in a sea of underwater front bankruptcy).
More likely the paid for attacks by the fossil fuellers and the other automotive manufacturers, will continue, especially the fossil fuellers ones. It doesn't seem to be working but they keep on doing it, American main stream media, the global bull puckey channel, any lie you can pay for will be told, just buy the right amount of ad space. This fits in the category of oh noes Stalin and the KGB used Pokemon GO to hack the planet (undead douche baggery). You just don't know what to believe coming out of US main stream media anymore but the safe bet is probably believe none of it. Any kind of news you want can be bought in the US, absolutely anything, start wars to kill competing businesses, who pays the most, wins that particular main stream media battle.
Who gives a crap about the case or components, new PC purchase, Windows anal probe 10, stops me cold and with it purchase of software to run on that platform. So pretty much keep the existing going until a platform switch. There is a sound reason PC sales are doing badly and it is all down to M$ and their privacy invasive bullshit.
PC culture only ruins what people are willing to allow it to ruin. There is absolutely nothing stopping you from maning the fuck up and telling them to fuck off, except your own fears. PC culture, meh, who gives a fuck.
Their little waffle about game design sounded absolutely horrible. If you do not make games you want to play, don't expect to make games other people want to play. All you end up doing with formulaic game design is play catch up badly. Computer game production is becoming far more competitive and if you do not get gamers to design your games, you will lose.
I just see it as, I wonder what is wrong with a US nuclear power station or they are looking a hugely reducing decommissioning costs, https://www.nei.org/Master-Doc.... Hmm, lot of decommissioning going on and well, expect a lot of people to get 'not radiation poisoning' because the downgraded law says it isn't radiation poisoning even if it is. Looks like a lot of decommissioning suddenly got a lot cheaper.
We know it's nature but they are people, they are citizens, you do not clean them out like rubbish. They are taking corrective measures for poor performance outcomes, result from poor interactions between employees, employees and management and company goals. Keep in mind some of the employees might will perform very well, the next time around, at another company;).
Who would not want to work for an employer who wants to psychologically manipulate you to be more productive and less demanding, yep, you betcha. A tree might be pretty thick to be considered the thin end of a wooden wedge but where will the manipulation stop. So they are looking at connecting the brain direct, well, I know M$ and I fully understand what you can do to people with direct brain stimulation and well, I would be suspect about anything they do. What more productive people, stop manipulating them, consensus is, reducing worktimes and working loads will hugely improve productivity, so how about a 6 hour day, two three hour shifts with a one hour break. Don't be cunts and you wont need to manipulate workers to achieve productivity (share the work around).
After training, you can control computers in all sorts of ways, even altering the tension in your genitals, when hooked up to a computer ie morse code, long or short;D. Of course people need to communicate with people and using that method instead of a letter or note, would not go well. Sure empty heads who do nothing but consumer content, will not need keyboards but anyone who creates content and shares it with other content creators will need one.
Here is an interesting side note. MMORPG, to keyboard or to microphone. Well you certainly can more 'readily' communicate via microphone and speaker but do you really want to. My choice is strictly keyboard only and sound from microphones disabled. Went with that stuff on once, watched a guild self destruct and listened to some god awful waffle until I switch if off and uninstalled the software and never looked back.
I know crazy assed SJW feminists want to waste their life arguing with young teenage boys (grown women mind you) but I do not. Very rarely will those immature chaps ever reach for the keyboard and you can fillet them with leisurely indifference, if you could be bothered, else block is only a right click away (along with the religious fundies https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/..., corporate political stooges and paid for with taxpayer dollars government propaganda, as well as the least offensive of that group, spammers).
When you are the publisher, the leach, the middle man, the parasite (when publishers were printers or broadcasters it was different), you will have right to nothing in the digital era, everyone will be publishing direct and if you want to collate that publishing, you will have to provide real services to justify any payment and not take 30% for attacking direct publishing, obstructing broadband, corporate cartels censoring non-'publisher' controlled content, using claims to piracy to shut down competitors, most egregious example false DMCA complaints without any penalty basically corruption from the top down.
News and journalism is entirely different and there is a real definitive financially sound model to take them into the future and clean up the news, just not the time yet.
Point number one is sound and logical practice. Point number two is just silly. You competitor has bad unreliable programmers, yeah, yahoo (heh, heh), yippee kiyay mother flocker. I would also write non-negative references for employees you are trying to unload on competitors. I would also use surreptitious methods to direct crappy customers to competitors and If I could catch out a competitors fraud or criminal practices I would report it to the authorities. I would ower zero loyalty to opposing companies, they are the enemy, I would doubt the loyalty of staff who did not publicly share the same attitude. That, direct shit customers at a specific competitor, might take a while to pay off but it is a funny as fuck when it does (two for one, bad customer dealt with and bad competitor dealt with, mwa hah hah).
If I am worried about employee loyalty, I would lean to internal training and existing employee referrals (the employees would know referring a bad employee would threaten their employment and end their ability to referee others). Don't treat your employees like disposable tools and you will not have a problem.
You actually do a bit more than that. You read through the first paragraph, if you are getting a bit stuck, right click on the blue words and open them up on another page. Similarly work you way through the rest of the page, likely, very, very likely, you will not be interested in the complex stuff, not at all, so you are missing out on nothing, so ignore it. Anything interesting in the rest of the article read it, not to forget right clicking on blue words, where you need to. When you get to the bottom, don;t forget to check out, the 'See also' paragraph as well as links to alternate sites. The 'See also' is far more useful than most people think, don't forget to check it out. By adding the first paragraph of each, you can developer a broader understanding of the topic. Personally I think wikipedia is pretty good. The only thing I would change would be to add a second version, where authors accredit themselves personally and the educational institution that employs them, a more formal fully referenced and accredited wikipedia. Still run both though, one more casual and informal and the other far more rigid and controlled.
Sorry but Tim Cook is living in a bubble, the majority of people are totally unfit to code. From my own experiences math geeks tend to do the best at it, that peculiar genetic mind set seems to really suit it. There are other really smart people, really smart and they are still crap and coding. All sorts of problems crop up. For me, presented a problem, all sorts of coding solutions would pop up, and unfortunately I would try to implement all of them at the same time, each part works on it's own but the combination, what a mess and it takes forever to dig out because each bit works, fix it sure but most certainly not productively or efficiently.
By far the bulk of the population will never ever be able to code productively, no matter how hard you try to force it.
You do realise there is a massive difference between spending money wisely on yourself and for private companies foolishly on other people. Governments are meant to spend all taxpayer money on the taxpayer and as little as possible on themselves. It would be an interesting corporation that worked on that basis, for as little time as it survived spending money on that basis. Google has cheated on taxes some where in the vicinity of $100 BILLION. No matter how badly the government spends that money, more social services will be provided, than the PR speak of spending a billion dollars by a corporation ie I will spend 100 billion dollars on this investment but shhh I will be charging 200 billion dollars for the service it provides and all that money will go to a tax haven where I will pay zero taxes (I just wont talk about the last bit tee hee). A string of Google announcements as B$ PR to cover over them being evil as fuck trying to manipulate elections in their favour, globally https://duckduckgo.com/?q=list... all marketing, heh heh, oh how the tables have turned (typing into one search engine to reach the other one).
I would tend to lean to this Alf https://www.youtube.com/watch?..., heh heh, bloopers so apt. The security breach, even unclassified still really bad. New tender requirements, companies computer network security specifications, staffing, security system in place, parrallel networks (internal connections vs external connections) et al. Most places are quite secure because they do not want competitors who are meant to be on their side, stealing proprietary data and also of course publicly humiliating their competitor with a security breach, likely knocking them out from future competition. Real temptation to knock out your competitors from future bids by having them banned for inability to secure their computer system. Corporations hacking corporations is a big part of the corporate wars already under way (even to active combat, taking into account employing competing defence contractors out in the field on opposing sides, corporate employees will be actively trying to kill each other, just a matter of time and not much time at that and probably already happening).
I would say, beware where you place insecure security cameras. Spying on your reception staff, making sure they are not doing naughty things but don't really care who else logs into those cameras. Well, when you staff checks credit cards and flips them over in front of high definition cameras, any one else who logs in, can also watch your stuff check those credit cards and I'll bet you hooked all those security cameras up together, so head office could spy on all reception staff, all of the time, as could any one else logged into those cameras. What could go wrong with that:|.
Falsely, yeah sure, yup, uh huh. Functioned like designed more likely, except people didn't like it. Proper design big old coloured button (rack off SJWs), right in the middle, which glows when it is on, when it doesn't it is off really off, mechanical off. Voice only is problematic because current versions (all manufacturers) tend to react to anything what so ever sounds like the triggering sounds, so it still turns off and all day long, as they prefer (they are data mining devices after all).
Phone home devices, only when they phone to my home, I own the device, screw devices owned by corporations and them phoning corporate headquarters to report on me, every single time I am in the presence of the device.
In a more sound psychological assessment.
What could go wrong with that :|.
