"there is" is in the second time he sings this, but it's a start of a different part of the verse in my opinion. and it's not in the first time, so if there is a connection to the sequence, that shouldn't be included.

  20. Re:does anyone think this is bad? on ID Required to Purchase Games · · Score: 1

i see your point that there is a time in the process of raising kids that the parent needs to censor those things in order for it not be an influence to the child. however, i think the parents should be involved in the life of the child enough to be able to restrict these things themselves and not complain if the government doesn't do it.

so "Why SHOULDN'T the government help out in that case?", i don't think they should just because it's not their responsibility to raise our children. they only do it in the first place because they are either being complained to by bad parents or are bad parents themselves that aren't involved in their children's lives enough to teach them their "good morals". i think it's completely the parents responsibility to raise their kids how they want to and the goverenmnet shouldn't be involved, the government is already involved in way too much of life (at least here in the US), we don't need them to control people in another way.

  21. Re:does anyone think this is bad? on ID Required to Purchase Games · · Score: 1

i think it's a bad thing. a video game should not influence a kid in any way if they were raised properly. anything that can possibly happen that is bad from a kid playing a video game is totally the fault of the parents. if parents don't want their kids playing games like this, they should have taught them their "morals" or whatever much earlier in life which would have prevented them from wanting to play it, if that's the case.

video games, movies, porn, whatever...the government and retailers should not have to enforce purchasing restrictions, it should be entirely up to the parents to raise their kids the way they want them to be. if they fail at that, they have no right to complain.

Recently, I was in a shower in Korea, and the shower knobs were smooth and covered with soapy water. I could not turn on the cold water, and I was almost scalded. I suggested that the management go to the hardware store and buy new handles for the faucets, ones with rougher knobs. This would be possible due to the standards in the plumbing industry that set the size of pipes, screw pitch, etc., and allow you to put several different styles of knobs on the end of the pipes. If Microsoft had built the hotel, they would have to rip out the entire piping system, all the way back to the water supply on the street and replace the entire thing, just to allow me to use a different manufacturer's knobs.

HAHAHA, that's one of the funniest things i've ever seen said about microsoft.
