Not to mention The Adveneture of Link. Thats one damn hard game. Even gettign to the last palace from where you start is a mini quest in itself thanks to the lava plains and caves....and once you're there...unless yo u knwo the trick the grand palace IS, not in actuality, but in perception due to the brilliant design.
One day I might even be bothered to dust off my NES and visit the bird knights and giant bobs again:)
Could try Thinsoft Winconnect Server Xp. Works for me, up to 21 simultaneous users on XP Pro. Not cheap though. Wish XP's limitation was just a reg key hack:(
Whats stubborn about releasing the modem and broadband adaptors for the cube?
Could have sworm PSO was an online game. Just because developers aren't utilising what Ninty are providing doesn't make it Ninty's fault. Sure they could push for more online functionality for cube games, but why would they do that if they're not sure if its a good idea or not?
Regarding the PS2, I tend to hate the company, not the system;)
I worked for Sony briefly, an i was disgusted at their attitudes towards their customers and some of the questionable practices they used. The only way I can voice my protest to a corporate entity is with my wallet. So I have. Much the same with XBox, but in that situation its just Microsoft's behaviour in general. Might get a secondhand one to play with using it as a linux media player though.
Umm. I have a Kodak CX4210, I never even installed the supplied software. Just plugged it in via USB and XP's camera wizard thingie popped up. Grabs the pics and deletes them from the camera, no fuss.
Haven't tried it under Linux yet though. Maybe tomorrow;)
Yeah, but you see, its so old now it has scarcity. The current DDR will set you back..what, maybe 40 quid, but if you needed DDR 2nd mix to complete you collection....that baby's gonna set you back a bit.
Still, kudos for posting the joke. I was thinking it, but didn't want to say anything;)
I heard from a friend whose dad works at Sky that they bought exclusive UK rights to Tivo or something along those lines, so Sky+ is all we'll get. Clever really, they saw how great the Tivo principle is, then made is so if you want it, you have to subscribe to their service.
Clever 'ol Murdoch.
Thats fantastic, I was able to read it without a second thought....that theory probably explains some of the mental processes that go awry in dyslexia sufferers
I worked for a Sony contractor during the PS2 launch, and was told by a bigwig from SCEE that the Sony stores only license the Sony name, they're not actually affiliated with Sony at all, (We were talking about people compaining about their PS2s that were faulty and bought from Sony stores).
My poor old mum is getting her inbox swamped with undeliverable mail reports, seems some spamming git is using the domain part of their email addresses to impersonate them.
At first I thought I'd set up their mail server wrong but no, it has SMTP AUTH on. Still though..... bloody spammers.
Just as well I'm moving them to ADSL (where they'll get a new email address domain) when I get home over Christmas:D
"Time Bandits" perchance? :)
If you have an NT-based system then try this article and see if it helps. Works great for me on XP :)

Thats is pure genius.
Thank you.
I have a IOSS BIOS Saviour on my VP6. Great fun for tinkering with hacked BIOS images :)
:)
On got around to hacked logos thus far, but once I get some free time we'll see if I can get linuxbios going on it
The Neo Geo Pocket had a thumbstick. It rocked. And Clicked, but thats another matter...
Only if this is an answer.

Yeah, but the original "digital" PS pad didn't have analogue sticks...
Aaah, so my buddy was vaguely close then. Cheers for clearing that up...couldn't for the life of me think why Tivo would agree to a deal like that.
What do you mean by handling marketing though? I take it thats just for their own boxes, rather than all national Tivo marketing?

*I* think they're cool. Doesn't *make* them cool.
