While war is always the health of the state, it is only good for the economy if it is in a very poor state to begin with. Such as the USSR and US before WWII.
guess I shouldn't expect lazy, coked-up, retarded George W. Hoover to read to figure out that how we exited the previous Great Depression in the '30s
I belive the depression ending event to which you are refering is commonly called "World War II." And I would love it if Bush would stop trying to repeat that.
No its customarily published in three volumes, thats why people think its a trilogy. You will note that the LOTR is divided into six sections, but those six are rarely published separately.
I'd much rather have a president who obeyed his oath to protect and defend the Constitution, and stopped enforcing unconstitutional laws providing for confiscation and redistribution of my wealth to those who didn't earn it.
I sure hope that wasn't ment to be a reference to Bush. He seems to be doing everything in his power to pass FDR as the man responible for the largest expansion in government power.
He says that average coders have a hard time staying on focus and are often lured by quick hacks rather than doing needed redesigns.
I agree with the rest of what you said (I'm having XP shoved down my throat as well) except this. I find that weather working alone or paired my programs tend to become messy hacks while I'm working on them and clean up afterwards. However, XP tends to make the redesigns less likely to happen if for not other reason than you know have to convince twice as many people that that nasty mess of code needs to be completely redone.
I find it much easier to filter out crap on p2p. Switching to display by most sources will generally garentee you a properly labled 128 MP3. If you are a snob and only want perfectly tagged FLAC, then ya you are going to have trouble finding stuff on p2p networks but otherwise its fine.
This is a good point.
I always get a warm fuzzy people when I see people downloading linux isos or MMA clips from me and it is kind of fun to laugh at at the people searching for "dog cums in pregnant women divx."
I know you were kidding but I feel the need to plug this again, I am amazed about how much quality music is out there for you to llegally download.

You do realize it isn't a trilogy, right? Just one book customarily published in three volumes.
I have had much better luck with BS Player and Zoom Player.
The windows port of gaim might work ;-)
Actaully I heard some people get their news from these arcane inscriptions on wood pulp, I belive its called a "newspaper."

Its not like they are going to share their own music on a p2p network.

Actaully then... could you recommend some free servers?
They *could* but it would probably be easier just to have a few e-donkey links on their geocities page for stuff they think is cool.
As a note, 3 seems to be the most hubs you can realistically connect to at once.
USENET a) isn't free b) has a crapy signal to noise ratio, except maybe if you are looking for porn.
Well not everyone can spare the 50+ GB it can take to get into some DC hubs.
Wheather that is the actaul motivation for DC fake sharrers I don't know.
Because an http server with files to download is more black and white. Either offering those files is illegal or not.
With a p2p network its much more shades of gray. Some people offer the latest Britney, some offer all stuff from IUMA, but most are in between.
I do not belive Bush has vetoed anything yet.
Reference "Instead we are getting the first full presidential term to go without a veto since John Quincy Adams."

Security through what you say?
Yes but everyone using Kazzaa lite has that spoofed.
Or use the google toolbar plugin.
