    a) In a few years a kid is able to learn almost the previous 4,000 years of Mathematics.
    b) Likewise, by pooling our knowledge we are able to get Operating Systems and Applications for zero cost.

    One day when you grow up you'll realize collaboration makes more sense then competition and artificial price gouging.

    The only reason to upgrade an OS is for:

    * bug-fixes such as security
    * driver support

    Many people running Windows 7 aren't usually buying new hardware that needs a new driver, and they are using external security solutions.

    You are _assuming_ everyone is incompetent.

    We ripped jQuery out of our current project because there is _nothing_ in there that we couldn't do smaller, faster, and cleaner with native Javascript, er, ECMAScript, ECMA-262 5th Ed.

    Years ago jQuery solved the cross-browser implementation problem when IE6 was popular. These days anyone using jQuery is an idiot Javascript developer.

    - They don't have the right feel for the weight of the keys
    - It feels cheap
    - Is the spacing in between keys correct?
    - Is it going to last? Stop filling up our landfills with cheap garbage.
    - Did I mention it feels CHEAP?
    - Do they have the raised ridges on the F and J keys?

    You can pry my Logitech Illuminated Thin Keyboard K740 from my cold, dead hands but I can understand someone wanting a _quality_ keyboard.

    That's not entirely true. The Apple's 381th Patent for inertial scrolling was a game changer. Adding physics to UI was absolutely brilliant.

    Inertial scrolling was invented by Bas Ording. He has worked at Apple since 1998 as an User Interface Designer.

    Crowdsource RETAKING the pictures and donate the new pictures and copyright to the blogger.

    That way Zillow's original photos are no longer being used.

    That is the more troubling question that needs to be asked and answered. Why weren't there more fail safes such as ... ?

    * Why didn't the car slow down if you have your hands off the wheel for more then 5+ minutes?
    * Why didn't the car's sensor detect the impending crash?
    * Why didn't the car pull over the side of the road after 15 minutes of hands free driving?

    There are far fewer programs running in the background. According to Microsoft, a laptop running Windows 10 S loads a user profile (including apps and preferences) 15 seconds faster than an identical laptop running Windows 10 Pro.
