Why can't people just leave things alone? I'm sure you have a great life, Mister AC. I mean, making fun of people who have video game records on Slashdot, what could be any better than that? I bow to your superiority....
You must mean mainstream, "cool" gamers. I mean, we don't like those old games anymore because you said so. You said it, Mister God of Opinions. So it must be right.
I've played the in-store demo and it seems the computer still cheats a bit but not as much. In Mario Kart, the cheating AI is a bit of a tradition. In Mario Kart 64, sometimes cars come from nowhere. Even the air!
Why didn't they just tell people to turn it off to change games, duh. A monkey with a can-opener as a brain could have thought of that (Which pretty much describes the N-Gage designers or the buisness suits behind it.). It works like that on the GBA. Oops, I forgot, the Game Boy is for ten-year-olds because of that Japanese idiotic stuffed shirt who is jealous of the Game Boy and this is for the "TEH X-TR33M UBAR K00L" demographic. Or maybe it has to do with it also being a cell phone. Who knows what they where thinking.
Off-Topic:
I know who you are. You are from the Metroid Prime sequence breaking group.
On-Topic:
I don't think anybody knows much about this game yet though I did see it in a European game magazine a month or two ago.
Some of the interactions should be skipped, I agree.
They tell you stuff that you already know. I know that I have to blow up the seam in the pipe, I did this mission in Orange Star. I know what a missile silo is, if I didn't I wouldn't be at this point. What about the things that the characters always say:
Andy: That's what Nell said anyway.
Sami: Yes, ma'am.
Colin: Yes, sir Commander Grit/Olaf.
So you absolutely can't play it just because it has cartoony characters which absolutely destroys all possibility that it might have good gameplay because we all know that graphics and character models completely outweigh gameplay. I'm sure that you are the same type that disliked Wind Waker because of the cel-shading.
If it had realistic graphics they would say "ThIs Gaem IZ teh BeST EVAR!!!!!111" (not aimed at you).
Nothing personal though.
I wonder when those game will be released. At this rate, they should mention them soon, and FFXV should be mentioned by Square-Enix by 2005 at the current rate. So, that means that Final Fantasy Final will come out the same day Duke Nukem Forever and Team Fortress 2 come out.
That has nothing to do with FFXII. It's off-topic and trolling.
What about Crystal Chronicles (sp?) or FF Tactics Advance (I know that the latter is on GBA but if you were playing CC then you would likely have a GBA or SP or GB Player).
What if the next Zelda were like this. It could be like a cross between this and the Final Fantasy X-2 GunCon type controller in Japan. It would hook up to the GameCube (or whatever is out by then) and have all of the buttons. It could work for Soul Caliber as well. It would be like a GunCon controller.
How ironic that that post was labelled "redundant".
There's a list of the differences at metroid2002.com. There's a few posts on the Metroid Prime boards on GameFAQs and metroid2002.com about them.

Yeah, and making fun of their accomplishments in games on Slashdot is a whole lot better...
Try Red Scarlet's 100% run at http://planetquake.com/sda/other/supermetroid.html
Not the record, but it's pretty nice.
TimeSplitters 2 also had that feature. Also some bonus stuff you could do for extra points.
Good point. Deserves to be modded up.
that Inculus is sharing the pain with Linux users.

My dogma ran over your karma. Could your karma be any worse.

I don't think I have to say any more. Oh, and I just broke the AC chain. Ha ha.

I thought that they were quietly canceled since I haven't heard of any news about them in quite some time.
IIRC, you don't need GBAs and link cables to play FF:CC. Although it is used as a map and other things too (all of which I forget right now).
You could hardly say FF is dying at all. That would be like saying that the Zelda or Mario or Dragon Warrior/Quest series are dying.

It is supposed to be Soul Calibur . I knew that there was something wrong.

I was gonna post that. I immediately thought of that article when I read this.
