I agree. Just because its illegal does not mean it will cease to exist.
Take drugs as an example, they are illegal, but that doesnt stop people using and dealing them. Making spam illegal will just make spammers more cautious in their distribution methods.
We might never have to use our wallets or purses again... walk into a shop and pull out your cellphone to pay. You could use it as a cheque book or a credit card. But there is a possibility of crackers stealing your hard earned funds. The designers will need to think about adding extra security to stop the crackers.
Whats the point of buying a small chunk of the moon if you cant visit it? If you buy the land, then you will have to be trained as an astronaut and then you will have to travel the distance to get there. This costs extra money in itself.
It may be clean and efficient, but is it practical?
Will it provide enough energy to fuel America, and will we be able to produce enough matter to fuel it?
Does this mean uber- advanced computer technology or just a new way of gathering chance and probability? The way I see it, this DNA is a new way of probability, finding out where to stick the next nought or cross on a nine square board.
Sure its cool, and it opens up new possibilities, in science and Quake 3 gaming.
It is not always the biggest weapons that makes the victor, rather the way the way the are used. Potentially something could go wrong and we would have a worldwide disaster on our hands. We do not need bigger and better weapons, we need rational thought and collective agreements.
This could be useful as we could cure the incurable HIV virus and protect ourselves from diseases that are yet to exist. Many people complain about the side-effects, but as long as we do not go crazy and change everything with DNA, then there should be nothing to worry about.

We could be charge for just using the road, the money would come just out of our account we might not even realise we are being charged.
