A recent James Bond Movie covered a similar idea. Pretty cool seeing the a "road" through the Korean demilitarized zone (a LOT of land mines) being "paved" by a giant light ray being focused by a huge mirror satellite. To allow the North to invade the south.
You dont need to expire the file, just have the video broken up into chuncks and inbetween have a pointer toa website for streaming ads that cna be updated (hell require registration so they can target me fully...i think im the only one who doesnt mind the idea of being given ads i would be interested in as long as it had a few random samples from the full stack of available ads to show me other thigns i might be intersted in but dont know it yet)
If the file cant connect to the ad server (through wmplayer I suspect or some java player for multiplatform compatability.) then it doest play.
Now of course Im sure that within 24 hours of release there owuld be a comercial free version on BT as well, but I would gladly watch the comercials and let the company know that Startrek is worth it than to save 15 minute of my time, and sometimes you catcha few good comercials.
While I most certainly knew what canon meant, Im sure there are plenty of people who dont know that particular word.
I've always heard people complaining about all the assumptions people make when they write, this guy actually tried to educate those that didnt understand the joke.
Am I the only one that was pissed off that Firefly stole Dark Angel away from me?!!??!?!?!
Dark Angel was my favorite show and Fox killed it the same way UPN killed Enterprise moved it to the friday "everyone is out not watching tv" night timeslot.
Whats worse is they canceled a show so they could replace it with a show that they would canceled only a year or 2 later....
Didn't even give James Cameron a miniseries to end it properly.
Shouldn't the accuracy be measured by making a chart of every day since the eggs have been monitored and filling every "major" world event into it. Then see if the up or downswing in the numbers gets larger with "more important" events.
And should also search for spikes tha had no reasonably important event to associate them with.

I think what you really want are laws that forbid homosexual activity(possibly helping to eliminate it).
While these laws might have the effect you desire, such laws were recently deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of the US.
While I do not share your religious beliefs about homosexuality (straight guy here if you are wondering...in Texas of all places) It seems that the by denying the right to marry you are not achieving your stated goal, instead you should push for an actual ban on homosexuality.
However you know that can't pass congress or even a national referendum because polls consistently show (sorry no links) that a majority of Americans support the right of civil unions for gays.(marriage without the title).
So knowing that you try your best to atleast get a small cosmetic victory of disallowing the right to marry.
I would be all for a Federal no gay marriage amendmant if it said, "but gays must be allowed to form civil unions recognized by the states that are not called marriage. Because the only reason there is a marriage issue is because marriage is so entrenced in religion and culture.

What does changing your password frequently do? If some one already hacked your password they probably had time to change it to lock you out entirely, Or put a trojan to tell them the new password once it is changed if they wanted to be stealthy about it.
I have no problem with the linux bias on sourceforge (personally have only dabbled in linux, but Im taking a begining linux user course and hope to some day make the switch).
I just wanted to point out that not all open source development is done on linux.
The fact that the author thought that all open source developement has something to do with GNU shows he is just another close minded linux fanboy.
While arguably we can thank GNU for the existence of the free software movement, since then it has branched out all over the place.
Open Source is merely a way of writing programs.
Ask linus himself.
And as others have pointed out, Java developement is another large catagory of opensource that doesn't touch GNU make.

They were almost all like that. or they had many heads or many arms of some regular animal, or even the lamest where it was just a giant animal. One of which being a female pig, a sow. The greeks were pretty unimaginative in this respect.
The military needs to rethink its standards, the guard and reserve for the first time in years missed their recrutment levels by a lot. (cnn or time article sorry I cant cite it.)
It would be smart to give the GED training while in the military. Just as soldiers can earn college credits while serving.

another thing I have done in the past is write each character as the next or previous character intead.
