To be honest, I'm glad force sensitive characters are rare. They're supposed to be. I'm not sure what time period the game is supposed to include, but jedi were rare at every point.
News break: Yes you do have the right to download free music! By definition even, that's why it's free. News flash: Not everything that is d/led from a p2p network is illegal. Cluebat: The RIAA has already shown false positives in tracking down illegal trading.
These applications appear to adopt the "fire-and-forget" methodology
I thought it was generally understood that most spam was sent by abusing open relays, thus hiding it's origin. This could be wrong. However if it's not, those figures aren't appllicable. Nor is spam going to be diverted since an open relay is generally running a regular mta and will attempt a retry. For instance, if qmail were running on an open relay and was abused by a spammer it would try again and again with an increasing delay (calculated logarithmically if memory serves) between attempts. So the mail will still get through.
When you further consider that if a spammer hits an open relay and hammers your mailserver from it and all of the "triplet's" are new, you're increasing your traffic, because all of that mail will be attempted again.
Or just the client. I'd be happy with either, but I'd obviously prefer the toolset as well. This may revitalize my gaming, since it's a pain to switch from Linux to Windows just to play a game (yeah I'm lazy). Of course I could buy a new machine...
Hardly, there is still a tremendous amount of activity going on, thanks to the toolset. And with the expansion coming out the game will certainly get a refresher.
Not to mention the MENSA test doesn't require much intelligence or insight. There are tricks (easily coded up by the way) to rip right through the problem to the answer.
It's people like you that make me glad I'm still alive, to counter act all the stupidity you excrete into the world.
Reading your rant ripping into this retard makes me glad you're still alive too.
That's not necessarily true. A company is responsible for what it's employees do, due (hehe I said doodoo) to the fact that it's an incorporated entity. I'm not sure that applies to this situation.
As posted earlier though, the price is irrelavent. Money is not the deciding factor in the decision to determine whether or not a license has been followed. (Unless of course the issue goes to court, then he with the most money does decide)
MySQL book to be THAT bad. I didn't pay for it, so of course I wouldn't have felt cheated. We had a red one around for a while but I forget who put that one out. It was a little better.
I probably wasn't accurate in my description. It went something like this, web page generated by perl dumped javascript/html. A popup generated dynamic html based on the parent page that was intended to filter the rows displayed on the parent page (think of the parent page as having sortable, dynamic columns and a good number of rows). The javascript that created the popup generated appropriate perl and more javascript on the fly for the popup's display. The popup, after selecting the options, generated new javascript/html/perl on the fly to show the filtered main page. There was extensive use of the Perl eval.
That's about as close as I can get to explaining what the situation was, it was close to five years ago. If I could find it I could explain it, it was documented extensively. Partly because I didn't want to forget how it worked, and partly because I had no wish to inflict that kind of torture on any co-workers who had to get in there behind me.
... more confusing naming conventions so Joe Sixpack doesn't know what he's getting. Reminds me of the lovely textual additions to modems back in the day.
On the other hand it's just more obfuscation that helps keep tech support guys employed.
Heh, luckily no... still working at the same company actually. A dot-com survival story. But it was nice back in the day when you could be sloppy, because they wanted it fast, and functional, nothing else mattered.
... you haven't written dynamic html until you've written javascript that generates perl that generates html that generates javascript that builds perl code to filter the html. Heh, sometimes I miss the dot-com days.
... how many useless motor vehichles were created before someone invented the modern car? How many other fields had dozens of novelty type origins before someone puched it far enough to become a huge win?
That's because you have national governments, which are based on geographical boundaries, believing that they have the right to determine what goes on outside their border. I've got new for them, they don't. Case fucking closed.
I have to agree with the bug problems though.
Under current law, yes. Should it be called theft and piracy ... no. It's copyright violation, nothing more, nothing less.

Errr, ok, after they prove that I've done something wrong. Rather than assuming the guilt of everyone who uses p2p.
Those of use with bikes get to use the HOV lane free of charge. Plus we spent less on our faster, better handling vehicles. ;p
... hate to see the AC bill in the summer though. Especially here where there really is no spring, it just goes directly to hot and humid.

Err that IS evironmental selection.

Hmmm, does anyone else not find it unusual that this guy has no job?

Ohhhh damn you got me, I'm so ashamed and embarrassed. An AC tried to flame me, ohhh damn. Log in pussy.
Asshole, no nothing, dickweed.
... woo woo, people aren't inventing what I want them too, and I can't do it myself because I can't do math.
That's because you're a leech... and a dick. 'Nuff said.
It only has one... somehow I don't think that's going to cut it. ;) THppppppppt.
I'd like to tell it to all those pigfuckers, to be honest.
