But, in either case, their phone infrastructure is a sunk cost, paid for a LONG time ago.
Maybe the lines in your neighborhood were paid for a long time ago, but your costs have to subsidize the growth of the network elsewhere in the company. Not to mention rebuilding in storm-destroyed areas. Its going to cost BellSouth almost $600 millon to repair the damage along the Gulf cost.
Tell me: Does money grow on trees where you're from?
I believe that that the Florida PSC (public service commission) ruled that you could NOT require bundled services to get high speed Internet. At least, I know they did that for BellSouth.
I don't think CE is oss. Free? Wes. Opensource? No.
I used to use CE all the time, but I grew tired of it throwing up on large files. I switched to Programmers Notepad about a year ago, and never looked back.
Not to defend Microsoft in anyway, but most certifications aren't worth the paper they are printed on. They're supposed to mean that the person that holds the certificate has worked with the tech in the field, and ALSO passed a rigerous exam.
With all the training centers out there, if you pay them enough money, you'll pass the tests without ever working a day in the field.
Keep in mind, though, that some games are developed by Sony themselves. Also, Sony will make some money off of accessories (extra controllers, and the like).
Does anyone know if Sony plans on introducing an XBox-live-like service?

about the only thing I find myself wanting in an html editor is source code highlighting. everything else is just fluff.
But at least we have to ability to examine the source code to be sure its all its cracked up to be'. Unlike certain OTHER operating systems, where your only resort is to poke the perverbial bear with a stick.
The differences between Enterprise, Personal, Exxtreme are arbitrary and subject to interpretation by the user and mardetroids.
Please! All the labels are arbitrary, as other commenters have pointed out. Stable, Unstable, and Testing? I've got a pretty good idea what 'Stable' is, but, without looking at debian's site, I can't tell you what the differences are between 'Unstable', and 'Testing'...
With that said, Waffle Iron's suggestions wouldn't work, either (however, I believe he was JOKING. Try turning up the sensitivity on your sarcasm detector. That might help you around here).
Perhaps something more sane like:
Stable
Current (formally known as testing)
Development (formally known as unstable)
To me, those are less open to mis-interpretation, as well as scaring people off with nasty words like 'testing' and 'unstable'.
The sentence was not 'No, the their boxen can use ethernet...', but was 'No, the current TiVo boxen can use ethernet...' which would make 'boxes' proper...
I'm an alcoholic, and my employer continues to give me money. Does that make them bad?

Go ahead... Mod me off topic. I don't care. I've got karma to burn!
You want an honest answer to that question? I'd say somewhere around 8-10%. 30%? Too little, too late.
Yeah! Yeah! Let's make them answer for their behavior !

In other news: Micorsoft announced difficulties finding evidence of a monopoly within the walls of Redmond.
That ought to settle it.
You ever played Killzone on the PS2? The DS controller works fine. Although, nothing's a replacement for a mouse and keyboard...
YMMV, but to me, the PS controller is the best controller ever. I just wish it was a little longer for my palms (i've got big hands)...
