Halo WAS originally rated T. I have a copy of EGM from December 2001, and there is a multi-page EB ad, showing the Cover Art for halo, and it has a T rating on the box. A photo of the box, sporting a T rating

    yeah they do.

A lot of stations called FL for gore back in 2000, when the polls in most of florida had closed(EST), but polls in the (heavily republican/conservative) Panhandle were still open(CST), which caused a lot of people who would have voted to not vote, or show up. This did cause confusion, and indirectly made the florida proplems a LOT worse. re-post: slashdot keeps re-checking the "post anonymously" box after I un-check it.

That is EXACTLY what nintendo did with the N64( and possibly other systems as well ). As well as using propeitary case screws. so, it would NOT be unusual to them to do so.

And for the record, if you, so much as, breath wrong on a peice of nintendo hardware, they will void your warranty anyway. Use of any third party products are highly discouraged by them.

Just keep trying, they limit the max connections, so that there are a few people downloading a file at a good rate, rather than a ton of people downloading a file at an very slow rate.

Yes, I agree, that the UNIX'y way of things is showing it's age.

how many normal users are going to figure out what /bin /usr /var /etc /sbin mean?
I know a at least two Linux distros that are going to attempt to fix this, GenSTEP and Komodo

from what I have seen and heard from the developers, the release looks to be very promising in terms of leaving behind the old timey UNIX guts, and looking like a modern, well designed OS.
