    You've obviously never driven in a big city. You would NEVER get to make a left turn at a non-left-arrow intersection if you waited behind the line until there was no oncoming car in sight. And you've also never made a left out onto a busy four lane road if you've never waited in the middle to pull into traffic.

    EVERY city with a red light camera has done this. Its the only way the cameras are profitable. And since the cameras are always administered by a politically connected private company, they will ONLY be installed if profitable.

    I don't think someone could sue you (legitimately) and have a case just because somebody else on your ISP's network was spewing viruses or other attacks. If it was running on your own in-house network that you control, it would be a different story. But someone can't be held responsible for what their ISP allows in other areas of the network they have no control over.

    Actually, its Eastern European culture. Due to the large number of immigrants, it has rubbed off on New York and other big cities around the world as well. Doing business with anyone from Russia or former Soviet Bloc nations is a GUARANTEED way to get ripped off.

    The IOC is one of the most greedy organizations in the world. Profit is all they care about, not amateur athletics. How many of the members make huge salaries, and for doing what? The host city pays ALL the construction costs for the games. The sponsors and broadcasters pay ALL the cost of the games themselves. What does the IOC do other than take kickbacks from potential host cities? Keep the Olympics, disband the IOC and start over.

    The amount of interest they would pay (especially over the long term) would make even the worst mutual funds look attractive. And then when you file your return and get a massive refund, you'll be taxed on the piddly amount of interest all at once. This is the worst retirement planning advice I've ever heard.

    Both of the articles linked in the summary (which you obviously did not read) stated that computer programmers are the least likely group to be dodging taxes as consultants, compared to other occupations. In other words, your flawed analogy is completely backwards.
