    Sure it was terrible but that's like saying the US wouldn't invade Japan because we nuked them.
    Or maybe a better example would be like saying Germany wouldn't invade Israel because of the holocaust.
    I don't see how it would make them less likely to help in any war against China.

    The prosecution claims Sharman Networks does not enforce their agreement which stipulates users cannot share copyrighted material.
    They are being sued not prosecuted. So the correct term is the plaintiff or attorneys for the plaintiff.

    I never said they shouldn't, I just said there was no need.
    I myself have a dozen old computers chugging away in my closet folding. Not because I need to, but because I want to. ;)
    But inventions tend to follow the path of needs. Why build a new airplane when the old one works perfectly well? If there's no need for a product why should someone create it?
    It's sort of like asking why no one has built an abacus that can do math in the billions. Easily done, just not useful.

    Why is it so shocking?
    There is really no need for this. Even if they get it to fly it's very likely to be a rather bumpy ride, not be as efficient or fast as normal airplanes, and is much more complex then a standard plane to build and fly.
    It's only advantage will be it's ability to fly slower then a normal plane something that helicopters can do much easier.

    NPR just was reporting it as a Hmmmm that's interesting story. Not a 'true' story about climate change.
    And while I don't really think there's any real problem with wind turbines some simple logic will show that they do have an effect on the climate.
    If you generator X amount of gigwatts from the flow of air that's X less gigwatts of wind current. So if the entire world started sucking their energy from the wind, then there's logically going to be less wind.

    Yes 600,000 is bigger then 500,000. But you wouldn't say more then 1 download per day would you?
    Yes it says 'almost' so the number is less then 600,000.
    But if you say almost 3 million in 5 days... it's closer to 600,000 not 500,000 Unless 'almost' means 2.75 million or less.
    Jezze you people are way to critical, I was just poking fun at his rounding.

    If he needs it right now then all he has to do is go to the ER. If his symptoms are really as bad as he describes then he should have no trouble at least getting a day's worth of antibiotics to tide him over to his appointment on Friday.
    He may or may not have to pay for out of his own pocket though.
    There's no need for him to travel half way around the country to get something that he can get at any hospital.
