It is a voucher in the box
and yes you will have to wait for the official release to redeem it
you have a choice between download or CD (4-6 weeks delivery though)
actually ATi makes many non PC based chips,
the Gamecube example has already been pointed out.
but they also make graphics chips for PDAs and cell phones http://www.ati.com/products/handheld.html
and chips for Digital TV http://www.ati.com/products/dtv.html
and MPEG decoder/encoder chips and some others I can't think of right now...
...are they admitting that you may be infringing someone's product by using MS products, do they have something to hide? or am I reading too much into this
The big money is in toner not inkjet ink.
Toner cartridges are the cartridges that Lexmark put anti-refill technology on. Things like counting the amount of times the drum roles restricting the cartridge to so many pages printed (even if there's still toner left in the cartridge!) there are companies out there that can circumvent this. check out Multilaser
Clippy isn't as bad as that swastika in the middle of the OFfice Logo. I mean who could have missed that O_O

You can never learn the true art of poker unless you can read the other players tells, and unless the computer also throws in virtual signs I doubt cyber players could ever climb the ranks.
I work for a Canadian Graphics Board company (bet you can't guess which one... hint it's not Matrox)and you'd be surprised how many people call tech support cause they can't get their new 500$ AGP card to fit in their 500$ computer which only has PCI slots
Could it be because the overlay is already occupied by the other user that's logged in, would explain the blank screen. Of course I'm just assuming since some remote desktop access apps have an issue when you're using them while using another app with overlay (TV Player, DVD, etc)
I used to work for a Printer supplies wholesaler and we had a supplier called MultiLaser that would Chip the Lexmark cartridges to be able to recycle them. Lexmark also had this prebate program where you would get a rebate if you agreed not to sell to recyclers.
You can find information on ATI's handheld 3D chip here:

It says it's OpenGL ES compliant, porting may be a possibility with say SD cards since most cells only have a few MB of internal memory.
I just noticed that DNF or Duke Nukem Forever can also be seen as Did Not Finish
:)
Fun stuff

actually since the game isn't in the box, it's a voucher, you'd get it at the same time it's released to the public no conspiracy there
It says it has both single player and multiplayer on the box
This would be useful, I text message, often. And I don't like the "phones" with keyboards on them. They look so tacky.
I can't wait to see the final product. Would be cool to be able to take control of a character and walk around first person in battle. Graphics look stunning. http://www.gamespy.com/asp/image.asp?platform=PC&i mage=/previews/september03/lotrbfmepc/14.jpg
In game shot!

Fired-Up alright... like the time we burnt down the White House in the war of 1812!

a networking app not working in Windows... stop the presses this is a first
if you think toner is expensive you should see the cost of MICR toner used to print cheques
How long until someone creates a "softwall" around LAX :)

I hope it doesn't recognize gestures in the back seat....
Has anyone used Scroll Lock in the last 10 years?
Yeah except the FireGL X1 offers dual DVI not to mention more support options, you don't only pay for hardware sometimes
