The Eastern German 'trabant' where paper(instead of fibreglass) and resin was used.

Of course the Engine/running gear is metal in both cases, but a lot of research is going on at the moment into ceramic composites for use in engines
Almost every part on a car can be substituted (at a cost) by a non metalic alternative, but metal has one great advantage from an enviromental perspective, it is almost always possible to recycle it cheaply.

In a way this guy is right, the error everyone is making is in thinking about this in a technical way instead of in a lawerly (is that a real word? ) way
the solution does not have to work, it just has to comply with whatever law is being used and a DSL line and VPN box probably would. It would be up to the FBI to prove to a (probably) technically illiterate judge as to why it wouldn't

  12. Retro-phrenology on Is The U.S. Becoming Anti-Science? · · Score: 1

Phrenology is the understanding of human behavior, morals and attitudes by the study of the shape of the human skull, it follows therefore that retro-phrenology is the alteration of human behavior, morals and attitudes by the application of a 2X4 to the human skull. now as is self evident the latter works, therefore the former must be true also.
