You can get audio on you computer just as good as anything else. There are only so many standarts. 5.1 6.0, both have cards, "SB live 5.1 FOREVER". The speaker systems, are very good. I myself have the Logiteck THX system. very nice. Loader them most home systems, and great sound quality. There really isn't much to change untill they come out with a new standart....
I see only the one for windows in in question. Just switch everyone to linux. You'lle have to pay the SCO tax "har har" but it can't be as bad as the Windows tax.

I remember it being a very unstable and cutiesy OS, that didn't do much of what i needed it to. Maybe they fixed all that, but i doubt it.

All this talk of apple and how Microsoft has made PC useable and such. I disagree, Redhat and other have a better install and more reliable. If Microsoft fell, simply a linux or unix based distro would fill the void, for most and others would just never upgrade there PC software. IF some company didn't just consume Microsoft on the way down and keep it going. To the normal user, they fight for there windows and there not haveing to think PC. And they don't want it to go.
I can't afford to fly to a Linux Convention, i think they should do a live feed over the net so i can see all the nerds, and venders trying to sell to them.
I have lost all respect for RedHat. I can see it being the next SCO/windows. It's only purpose now is to sell a product they pay nothing for. With it's ever changeing style and ever growing bloatness. Makes me as a linux user sick.
