Having an "IPV6" day is not such a big deal for these sites as they have already more or less prepared themselves for IPV6 already. The challenge is getting ISPs and OEMs ready to supply IPV6 links and IPV6 equipment. I think that making a big deal of "IPV6 day" will push these companies into getting their asses into gear to offer IPV6, if consumers and businesses can keep pushing them "We need IPV6, are your links going to be ready for IPV6 day?" and "We need IPV6, are your firmware updates going to be ready for IPV6 day?" even if this is only a marketing campaign.
What is important here is that we give ISPs and OEMs a deadline because at the moment the precise date for NEEDING IPV6 is up in the air and they are reluctant to do anything until a deadline is put in place (or even to START until the customers are complaining- when it is too late)
Opera are against everything and everyone, while their actual market share consists only of a hardcore minority. In other words, nobody from the real world actually cares what Opera think, and there is no news here.
The Motorola Defy is one hell of a beast and is the right smartphone for the military.
Android 2.1 (2.2 coming), IP67 rating (Sand/Dust-proof & Water Resistant), Scratch-Resistant glass, Drop resistant. Scores well in the quadrant benchmarks at 800MHz compared to other phones running at 1GHz with Android 2.2.
The screen is the same size as the iPhone, but the unit overall is smaller at the top and bottom and weighs less. The battery is removable.
The antenna design is also remarkable, one of the few phones (and the first Android phone) to be certified to be used in Rural Australia, on the very edge of coverage. A lot of users report that this phone holds calls in low coverage areas where other phones have failed.
If the Military is looking for an off-the-shelf phone to deploy, they can't go past this one. It ticks all the boxes to handle the environment, it is not too bulky like most ruggedised phones, the antenna performance in low-coverage areas is phenomenal, and it is running Android with all the features.
Android is also a better development platform for proprietary apps than iOS, as apps can be loaded without Market Approval, without having to register all of the iOS devices in the fleet as development phones or having to jailbreak.
Just because you didn't reverse engineer the code or rewrite it based off screenshots, doesn't mean that it's not a copy. If you make it look/do the same, even without original code, it's still a copy
With no you-tube videos, and not even any Slashdot replies interesting enough to get enough mod points to be seen (and that is saying a lot), it appears that there is nothing fun that you can do with whatever it is that you are asking.
It sounds good to me, except for that this is targeted at only one mobile platform. This direction is not in the best interests of the free market or customers.
more than $1.5 million dollars for her life care; lost earnings; and pain and suffering for the first year alone. In addition to the first year, the family will receive more than $500,000 per year to pay for Hannah's care. Those familiar with the case believe the compensation could easily amount to $20 million over the child's lifetime.

Do the affects of this vaccine also include repeating the same text on Slashdot, or is that the 'result'?
Use Gmail like a normal person, not your requirements but close enough [insert solution for offline Gmail backup here because Google are proprietary and evil]
Why would I be worried? I thought that it was obvious that you can use existing networking equipment otherwise the NBN would be pointless if you can't use it. That's even if NBN makes it to mainland Australia.
Just purchase a copy of Malwarebytes (which is not very expensive, less than $25USD for a lifetime license - http://www.malwarebytes.com/), as well as up-to-date anti-virus (http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ - Microsoft Security Essentials which is free and is very good) and not have to worry about user competency. Malwarebytes is phenomenal in protecting PCs from Malware. I have serviced many PCs with the Full Version of Malwarebytes installed (which has real-time protection) and nothing has slipped past so far.

These claims sound really fishy. So you replaced a DLL in Photoshop and Adobe's anti-piracy measures kick in? big deal, what do you expect for modifying files that you are not supposed to and is against Adobe's EULA. And how is that Windows 7's fault?????
And they found that with one particular audio application, their MP3s don't sound that great, and they somehow draw a conclusion that it's DRM in Windows 7?????
I work for a large company that has a huge innovation programme. We are expected put in at least 1 idea per month to participate in Profit Share.
But I will only provide minor ideas or improvements.
For major money-making ideas, I will keep those to myself.
This is because I know that I am not going to be well compensated for it if I is successful. At most I may get some movie tickets for it, as oppose it keeping it for myself, where I could go out there in the world of business and be well compensated for my success, if only I was more business savvy.
All it would take is a guarantee that if the major idea is successful, then the idea is still the property of the company, but I am entitled to 10% of the first year's profits. - Hey maybe I could put that in as my next idea.
All whilst all those royalties are flowing to MPEG LA for everything that we do.

Also the fine people at the European Commission are not from the real world either.

So they are working with Adobe to get Flash Player in, but against Adobe to get Adobe Reader out?
I was going to vote for Labour until I read this, I don't want any part in filling Apple's coffers any further.

Does anyone know if Sony would replace bricked PS3s caused by this update, even if they are out of warranty?

Could someone please put this into a car analogy?
Forget the penguins, it's the Kangaroos that you should worry about.
If not even Microsoft can stop the Windows XP monster, what hope does Linux have?
