    Yes it is! Except they can do it.

    The Constitution are a limit on the government, not private parties.

    Of course, if this happened because of gov pressure is another discussion entirely, and then I'm not sure it's protected by the constitution.

    No, my point is:

    Twitter trending topics calculation is not influenced by volume of tweets, but by tweet growth rate.

    Hence Wikileaks tweets does not have what it takes to become a TT (that is, high growth rate)

    What happened was... all the JB fans were skewing the trending topics by tweeting about him all the time.

    So twitter changed TTs from being a measure of amount to a measure of growth (or derivative)

    And I think wikileaks grew slower, hence no TTs.

    offtopic but anyway

    You can do a lot of things to allow a safe and contained usage of ssh

    1 - Use a key, not a password
    2 - chroot or maybe /bin/false (not sure if this can be overwritten)
    3 - SELinux, etc (but it's a pain)
    4 - have ssh handled by a VM, it can be something very simple

    I used Rational Rose for only a brief period of time though.

    Also, (legend says) ClearCase is not that bad with a decent administrator and configuration (tough luck on this one)

    I absolutely will think twice before taking a job that requires them.

    However, one tool that I found to be extremely useful amd totally worth its price is Enterprise Architect. I don't remember if it does requirements

    Well, you can do that. Take their CC number but only charge them if they go beyond a certain value. And then account for the rounding and compensate accordingly in subsequent transactions.

    What I'm bashing is not so much the degree, but the attitude of the people. And I put Medieval History and MBA for a reason, google it ;)

    What are you doing getting a hundreds of thousands
      loan to get a degree that's far from guaranteed in getting a good job/salary for you?!?

    Of course a degree in Liberal Arts from Harvard is much better than in a community college, but in the end it's like paying 100k dollars for a pen instead of buying a regular pen.

    So go to community college, it won't bankrupt you for life.

    I'm all for studying the philosophy of things, but study for doing things, not only thinking of doing things. Including questioning the war: journalists, lawyers, etc

    Better still, let's go and study all the important things: Theology, Liberal arts, Medieval History, etc. Of course these are very relevant and they can land you a job in no time, so that's why they are so expensive.

    If you need anything else later just do an MBA. More relevant studies which of course costs a lot of money.

    Of course you couldn't change the lights on your room to save your life but still you think you're the most important person in the organization...

    More or less, yes

    , the same environmental extremes,

    Not even close.

    One is in a hot environment (think 70C / 160F), next to a major emitter of EM radiation

    The other one is at room temperature, with a convenient shield and at a convenient distance

    Why wouldn't we? With the exception of hard drives and noew requirements, you shouldn't bother for some things.

    Firewall? File server? LDAP? They don't need that much power.

    True, it may be cheaper to replace, still, you may just wanna image the HD and replace it into the new machine.
