I thought the movie was enjoyable but the thing that bugged me was how easily the Jedi got whipped.
We've seen how 1 or 2 Jedi knights can take out many opponents yet the hundreds of knights and masters at the temple get taken out just like that!
It is interesting how this has played out./.ers have been moaning (rightly so) about how this stuff is bad and how the ppl in charge have been ignoring it. And now the ppl in charge seem to be waking up. There appears to be hope after all.
Having said that, it should never have happened in the first place.
SMSing seems to be the primary form of keeping in touch amongst teenagers here in NZ. The phones are going off all the time. There was a petition at www.ucnz.com a while back about this deal. Apparently 20000 ppl thought that 33 text messages a day are not enough. I'm lucky to use the 20 free messages I get with my deal each month.
It was on the news here. He was sending the same message to all the users in his addressbook with the send to all function of his phone. So if you have a hundred ppl listed it can add up pretty quick.
It's annoying enough having people using cell phones for normal sms messages in movie theatres...imagine the waving of phones in movie theatres that will happen now...of course if the message happened to be a target...
If they won't let you use your own phone get them to provide you with a company phone. After all if you are using it for business then they should be paying for it.
Actually...you may be 'technically' stealing. Although I agree it does seem like the logical way to go about things. That doesn't make it legally right tho.
Here in NZ everyone on Vodafone can text message (SMS). All the phones sold by them support it. It's amazing that it seems that it is not the norm in the States.
Bing!
Hmm...I can see it now. Yes Mr Bank Manager...I'd like a loan to buy an island. Where is it? Well...it's virtual...
Depends...do you want to do business or communicate with China or not?

Can we subscribe from New Zealand?
Oi oi oi
Hmm...they are already out there. What we need are ones with storage space for more than 30 seconds or so.

Work hard and you can 'make' lots of money.
Fair enough. But it's still going to be the dominant OS for ages.
Good point! It's interesting that they would miss something like this though. Must have spent too much time looking at the software impacts.
I don't get them moaning that there is too much scrutiny being given to this. It is going to affect 90% + of all the computers in the world.

The telco in question has to pay 8c per message to transfer the sms to another provider in interconnect fees.

Our government is moving towards more freedom to copy...
What? They are sending our pornstars to India!!!

It may be 'right' but it is still not 'legal' which is damn stupid in my opinion. The law is an ass.

You only do this till you turn it on and catch your Dad surfing porn...or even worse...your Mum.
Maybe Britney should be singing about Penis pills...

In NZ we are fortunate enough that there are not a huge amount of telemarkters phoning us up. Maybe one every 2 to 3 months. Lucky us.
