Just because mountaineers needed permission to enter tibet does not mean tibet was an internationally recognised sovereign nation. If you read the wikipedia article on tibet, you will see that Britain, France and Russia recognised China's sovereignty of tibet in 1907. The governments of China have never withdrawn their claim since then. I hate what China is doing in Tibet (and the rest of the country) like everyone else, but historically, Tibet was never recognised as a sovereign nation. There are lots of arguments against Chinese possesion of Tibet, but that isnt a valid one.

"Instead, this seems to just be a mod to sell for profit."

The materials the mods are made from are all sold for profit by large corporations, so what is the difference with normal people selling mod'ed equipment they enjoy making? Im sure people would like to buy this, since anything is an improvement over the horrible, horrible aesthetics of the M$ machine.

In this case, it was a just a joke anyway!

You dont know what you are talking about. This will hardly affect computer sales in Japan. 19. Re:What a lot of Nonsense on Meditation in the Workplace? · · Score: 2

Damn straight. Employees will only work to their full potential if they actually benefit from their own labours. Amasingly cheap arse salaries are not enough. These are the people who make the money, dont they deserve to have a piece of the profit? Sure they might get stock options or something, but that wont make up for the huge differance between the average workers salary and what upper admin gets. The loss of family time especially is a huge factor in productivity in this age of ever increasing overtime. If they only could start from the basics instead of experimenting with various fashionable new-age techniques... we would have higher productivity and a more stable society.
