I actually don't get what the problem with voting machines are. It seems to me that all problems could be solved if it printed the votes for the voters review, then the paper goes into a separate sealed container that is asisiated with a voting machine. If there is suspicion of errors, the container, which is tied to the particular voting machine can be reviewed and counted manually to ensure that the votes from that machine is the same as the paperbackup. If in the national system each voting machine has an id, you can always go back an test the results. Tie that to a system of random review and you have a perfectly untamperable system. Only way to alter a vote would be to alter the centrally stored system and destroy local backup, which is a lot of work to do on a large enough scale that it would actually matter.
Also, in this system open or closed source dos not matter since the voter can review the vote after it is out of the machine.
Imagine a 2 cm by 2 yard table. then imagine 4 match box cars. Is the chanse of then ocupying the same spce largest if they must all stay on the 20cm line or if they can use the entire table?:)
Thers sencors on the back of many that beeps if to close to an object. Why not do the simple thing and mount those in the front to and let em brake to various degree depending on how close an object is and how fast it's closing in, that cant be so hard.
Yeah, but things cahnge you know. There is no guarantee that MS products will be as common in the futura as they are now. When I lerned to use a computer, wordperfect where the only real text editor, thatd dont mean I cant use word or oowriter to day...
Any one that has tried using a magnifying glass to light tings on fire, should know that you have to aim it pretty well for this to work, which means you will have to have a solar setup that can follow the suns movement, or your actual cell will get out of focus quite fast and you will have -no- efficiency, as opposed to regular cells that can absorb energy from a wide angle(I don't know anything about the efficiency of regular cell when the angle becomes steep).
It wil only urge, russia, us, china and maybe france and japan to make alot of unmaned satelites capable of carpetbombing the solarsystem with smal portable solarpowerstations.;..;
Obama will outlaw "Soviet russia" and "imagine a cluster of...." jokes
Obama will outlaw all otehr comunication than ip over pidgin.
Obama will then send lazer sharks to iran.
Um, that would be true if you only ran 1 program on your computer, but I, like many others, often run more than one program at the time, most which are only made to run on a single core, but they still run faster with a multicore since they get more of the processor they use for them self. I can even play multiple games at once since each will use about 100% cpu on a single core, but both running smoothly.
No it is not. If he is, like he stated, coding something for an Intranet where he knows all users will use ie6, coding for ff or safari is a waste of time. It's like making an internal windows program cross platform for +50% the cost even if you don't need it to run on anything but windows. If, how ever he codes for something going on the internet, and his employer says he only needs to code for ie6, he should tell his employer why that is not so.
lol, the interesting thing her is that even tho they whant me to spend a fortune on not so backwards compatible upgrades evry 2 or 3 years, they them self have a system that goes back 10+ years:D:D
No more so than they need to know how to install windows. Installing suse has become at least as easy and intuitive as installing windows, and a noob user will not need to go about figuring out what spyware/malware/antivirus/firewall protection they want in addition.
When it comes to environment: California != USA. California has stricter environmental laws than almost anyone, that is not the standard in the US. at least not to my knowledge.
From Wikipedia:
A zero-day (or zero-hour) attack is a computer threat that exposes undisclosed or unpatched computer application vulnerabilities. Zero-day attacks take advantage of computer security holes for which no solution is currently available.
Now, if every linux game was as easy to install as Americas army, it would all have been a walk in the park. Unfortunately, even installing games that has a linux port can be hard at times.... I had to find out patch, alter the code(I have no right alt on my keyboard) and recompile sdl to get nwn working as I wanted the last time I installed it:p But unlike windows that seems to become stranger evry version, linux becomes simpler every time one of the larger distros makes a major release, which seems to happen at least once every 1-2 months:D

For ip6 to be used, dos ip6 has to be used all the way, or could say dsl users sit on ip6 adresses and access servers on ip4s?
