You are apparently buying the wrong laptops entirely or buying them in the wrong country/market. Where I get them, they have one single slot for reading sd, xd, mmc, AND memory sticks. At the very least, a laptop must have an sd slot these days, otherwise it is crippled.

But really, I think the value of spamgourmet over the more open design is in personal communications, when communicating with people you don't know, and are not sure that you can trust. This way you can have some protection and anonymity, while retaining privacy and convenience.

Well, the tag management is unfortunately still there....

Anyway, I have used MEXP for a long time now, and I haven't seen a playlist in many years. In fact, even before I used MEXP, I didn't use any playlist except one big, containing all files, Since you can search through the playlist with the handy jump function: artist, title, filename, path etc., all from one search box. Win+J is the holy global key combination, man.

Also, it's a bit more complex than a simple bipolar Microsoft-FOSS thing. I don't think there is a magical 'flow' of users between those depending on gay right politics. Is there pro-, or anti-gay support in FOSS?

Oh, OT while I'm at it. I noticed the 'politics' logo has some stars spangled on a banner.. is this section meant for American politics, not just politics?

Imagine a few corporations, a number of large, a horde of medium and a swarm of small businesses, and add on top of all that one home connection per slashdotter, since everyone accesses their home boxes from work. Might be a bit. Imagine if a slashdotter at Google sets all requests to return a 301 header pointing to TFPDF.

Mouse gestures in Firefox will also eventually give you pain in the wrist. While it's nice that it recognizes more acrobatic moves than opera, it's counterproductive. Down-up becomes down-slightlyleft-up, down-right becomes down-topright, simply because that's how the mouse movement naturally falls. It works nicely, sure, but isn't smooth enough, needs tweaking.

A long time ago I almost did that, but not recursively. Had to recompile my kernel.

I've also done the same in windows, a long time ago. Had to figure out what my intricate config.sys tunings and autoexec configs were. Notice that "del" doesn't automatically delete hidden, ro, or system files, which saved me. Both times would have been totally irrelevant if I had been unable to do such a thing.

Is there som obstacle to adding support for activeX in only the windows version? Like this:

Default turned off. If a page has some activex thingys, block, display small text that a thingy was blocked. If user wants to run it, click here and blabla, the url gets added to "Allow" list. Done. Other platforms need not even bother.
