Wrong. That's the name (part of it), and that is what they are called. The full name of North Korea is "Democratic People's Republic of Korea". The people have no say whatsoever, and it's certainly not a democracy, but that's the full name of the place, and is recognised as such. And why can a terrorist organisation not be called a party anyway, or vice versa? If a party engages in terrorist activity, does it cease to be a party? It sounds like you are hung up on filing all terrorist organisations, no matter what, under the name "Terrorist Organisation (Evil) (TM)".

Well, keep an eye on the battery indicator, and change before you run out. Also, use rechargeable batteries to save on your environment. Better yet: get a newer mouse with built-in battery, low lag and high update rate. I can personally recommend Logitech's laser mouse.

But the image thumbnail view in 2k is strange! I think it doesn't cache the thumbnails like XP does, and somehow it chokes up the system when you have a lot of pictures. Does anyone know a fix?

Yes, but if doing it manually, you need a steady hand. Otherwise the results can be slightly (or very) squiggly-looking. I recommend a graphic pad or a really, really good mouse. Not that it'll matter that much in this case though, as long as the principle gets through.

I had a similar situation.. except it was my math teacher who made math class exciting (or at least interesting) and understandable. My physics class was dry. Sahara-dry. I now have an aversion towards physics on a basic level. Don't make that mistake! Ever!

Although I am however intrigued by the more complex and modern stuff in physics, so it's not a complete loss and definite loss.

Yeah, true. Kinda strange as 'osusume' isn't really an uncommon word, and I usually see it in hiragana.. But still, it's more readable. A funny point, look at the name of the writer in the two versions. I had to stare at the babelfish one for a while before I realised what it was. :)

True, but why the hell do people insist on using babelfish for Japanese then!? Use WWW.EXCITE.CO.JP/WORLD, people. Here's the link from excite and as anyone can plainly notice, it makes a good translation of official text. If you want to translate an URL with Japanese, go to this page, paste in the url, select which way to translate with the radio buttons (the boxy character means japanese, the complex one is english), and Go!

Let me state it again for clarification:

Do NOT use babelfish for translating Japanese! Excite.co.jp translates cleanly, into correct and understandable English. (of course the japanese has to be correct to start with, no wild slang)
