First off, RTFA. Second, strongly centralized governments envy banana republics that don't have this "rule of law" democracy seeking people keep asking for.

I think Indymedia's problem really is that they don't know why the servers were seized, they just got a call from rackspace saying "dude, the FBI is here with a warrant, so that server is coming down". In fact, I think that this could have been done without Indymedia knowing until the server was unplugged, sort of a Patriot Act style no knock raid.

I think this phrase is confusing people. That refers to seeing it from 360 deg around. Later in the article it says The 3Dsolar device projects the Windows or MAC desktop image into the air whereby users click on icons for manipulation. Nothing about any rotating surface. I still think there's something funny going on here, but we'll have to wait for some real photos to say how it works, not that PR junk on the site.

Viacom, as all liberal media, want to redistribute wealth to lower socio-economic classes so that they can consume more and the advertisers can pay more for the commercials.

This is due to the lower marginal savings rates for people that don't make much or any money, where as wealthier ($75k+) start having a higher savings rate, which means they aren't buying as much as they make. Economics 101 meets Media 101.
