"Continuity: In the party scene at the space library, Harry Osborn is sitting at the bar getting drunk. He knocks his glass to the ground to drink from the bottle. After talking with Peter, he goes back to drinking, but now it's from a glass again."

After he knocks the glass off the counter with the bottle he grabs another glass.

"Deliberate "mistake": Peter runs into the apartment building on fire to save a child and even though there are flames everywhere, he is able to grab onto a doorknob to see if it is locked without being burned."

The doorknob wouldn't necessarily be intensely hot, in fact if it was then it would be a bad thing to open the door as you would get a major backdraft.

"Deliberate "mistake": Throughout the entire movie, when Doc Ock moves around with his tentacles, it's always in very quick movements, with his tentacles pounding into the ground with "boom, boom, boom, boom..." However, whenever someone actually hears Ock coming, (i.e. Harry on the balcony, the woman in the office, or Peter and Mary Jane in the deli) we can hear very long, three to four-second pauses in between the impacts of his extra arms."

So because he walks one way sometimes he can't walk other ways at times?

"At the end of the "I've changed" conversation with Mary Jane, the taxi is right next to her (you can see its roof next to her face), yet in the next shot, she has to cross the street to get to it."

Actually, as somebody else mentioned you all have the same map. You do have a point though, you actually don't want others to see your screen because you have a secret objective that they may be able to interfere with. At the beginning of the mission you might get told to go through the whole level without getting healed. Each person gets something different and whoever sticks to their task the best gets first pick at upgrades at the end of the level. Obviously if they know that you aren't supposed to be getting healed they will heal you as much as possible to increase their own chances of winning.

But still so many people think games are too complex. So I developed the L/R buttons and analog stick to simplify things.

Making things simpler by adding more buttons? Anybody can play an NES game (not necessarily well) with it's 5 buttons. Try and teach somebody who has never gamed how to play just about anything these days and you spend half an hour answering "What's this button do again?". Lets see off the top of my head PS2=13 buttons, XboX=13 buttons, GameCube=10 well Nintendo is still less complicated, but 5 10 = TRUE!

Actually in the trial on manaan you can get dark side points for discovering that he is guilty and agreeing to try and get him off anyways, also for force pursuading the hotel manager to make a false statement. Also in KOTOR for the most part people think you are a good guy until you start talking to them, because well you are a jedi and you travel with a pack of good guys. That is why people still come to you with problems.

As far as my comment on GTA I don't think you got what I was trying to say. I'm not saying there shouldn't be consequences, I'm saying that (like it is now) consequences shouldn't be harsh enough or annoying enough to try and make you less of a bad guy. If you made GTA:VC more "ethical" than the mob bosses would be saying "I need you kill somebody, but you'll be a serious asshole if you do it."

  25. BOOOO! on A Plea To Game Makers To Act Responsibly? · · Score: 1

I'd be pissed if they started trying to encourage me to be ethical in my entertainment. Take Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) for example. It lets you be a totally evil jackwad, at first you get people saying oh you are naughty blah blah blah, but as the game goes on you can get evil partners who incourage you to be naughty. In fact if you keep the good guys around long enough they start turning evil with you. KOTOR would totally suck if they didn't let you enjoy being evil. How much fun would GTA be if everybody was calling you an asshole and sinner throughout the whole game.
