In my undergraduate studies, there was a female student who could see symmetry in crystals looking at it from any directions, none of the other students and the TAs could do that.
Process required to do science is very far removed from the goal, relying on superstitions and intuition. Right now, the process is (historically) biased toward males. But there is no evidence that this is the best way to go.
Constitution gives us the people to elect the president. Kerry, like Gore, have no right to concede. Ohio is still too close to call, and by conceding, Kerry takes away their right to have votes counted. The difference between the results (even before correcting for Dieboldt errors) is less than number of provisional ballots.
If one looks at the graph and interprets min max times as error margins, then there is no difference from a year ago. We are supposed to be more rigorous than the average poll watching Joe. Show the distribution and give us a hypothesis test, with p of at least.1. How many computers were involved in testing? How about commenting on the sampling bias?
I've lived in Baltimore for many years and it is obvious that the government. will use any excuse to cover up the extereme corruption. When I was there, a superintendent gave a building contract to his uncle who wasted $100,000 and then $100,000 was spent fixing the errors.
As an aside: If you are gov't employee, it is your responsibility to use email for official business only. All communication should also use proper English (these are not posts to Slashdot) and all the emails and memos should be self-containing (and not include 100k messages of pretty formated reminders of lunches). I don't work in the gov't, but I still follow these rules. This cuts down on most junk.
Removing battery doesn't always work. I was disassembling an Epic stylus infinity camera and did remove the battery. There was a capacitor in there though and I got quite a shock.
He did such a great service to the world by convincing everyone about the truth of the new internet economy. How else would you explain a multibillion dollar company is using a drug addicted (speach challenged) hippy to promote products to university/goverment/fortune 500 executives?
