i vote we test 'em on iran, iraq, afghanistan and pakistan if they don't get their shit together.... when france and germany bitch about it to the UN, we'll send a few to paris and berlin....
pssst.... actually, "cancer" has the same exact cause.... mutated cells reproducing out of control... find something that targets and destroys these mutant cells, boom, cure for cancer... find something that cuts off the blood supply to said mutant cells, boom! cure for cancer...
everyone has cancer cells (newsflash!) but our immune systems are able to keep on top of things and keep those cells from multiplying out of control.... then some genetic or environmental factor comes along, throws shit out of whack and the next thing you know, MA needs a new senator.
yeh.... i work with digital media, i can send you some CDRs and DVDRs from clients that didn't last 4 days... or 4 months, mold, labels peeling.... the only thing optical media should be trusted for is sneakernet.
the BEST way to store data is in human readable form.... technology comes and goes.... but, data stored optically, like... actually... optically as in slides.... can always be read.... as long as she;s not blind and has a light handy...
i've got stereo slides my grandparents shot back in the 50's... color 3d slides... (they left a few of the 3d viewers behind)
then if they check their credit reports regularly, as they should, they would see the incorrect address and report it to the credit agency which will remove the entry...

just outsource the warheads to india or china....
that's where all the technical expertise, and all the jobs are.....
everyone knows warp drives are powered by matter/antimatter reactions.... not fusion...
duh....
the impulse engines are powered by fusion reactors, and those are limited to a speed of 1/4 c
"but unless you stick to relatively generic hardware, you will be disappointed"

35mm or 16mm film will last at least two hundred years in a controlled environment....
and museums already know how to handle film media....
but... didn't someone *just* say that so many things cause cancer it's all impossible to find stuff to cure blah blah blah.....
if you can't cure the cause, because the causes are many and varied, cure the cancer....
Patrick Swayze will thank yo.... oh.. wait.... SHIT too late....
And I, for one, welcome our new immune system overlords

just don't include any batteries!
batteries can leak over time and ruin the electronics, as well as anything else in the time capsule....
