Never, ever, never but never, tax the new technology to fund the outdated technology it's replacing! That would be like taxing cars to fund horse and buggies, like taxing MP3s to keep the audio cassette industry solvent, or like taxing online commerce to prop up brick and mortar stores. Horrible backwards thinking that only a politician could spew.
I have seen first hand the junk that is Huawei, most of it blatently (and poorly) copied from Ericsson.
At [carrier in S Asia] they failed for 3 weeks in a row to roll out one HLR only to barely succeed with thousands of CSR calls. But since they're cheap, the customer stuck with'm.
When people start worrying that there aren't enough men going in the dental hygienist field (I've never in all my life seen one), I'll start worrying about the lack of women in IT.
Any job that can be done remotely (medical record transcription, customer support calls, coding, telemarketing,...) can and will be outsourced to save money. An answering service would be a perfect job to export.:wq

Yes!!! Also, doesn't leak in flight and some versions cannot be washed from checks. Love the fine (.5mm ?) width.
Sorry, MetroPCS, Cricket, and US Cellular are CDMA carriers. They do not have SIMs. The only big GSM networks in the US are AT&T and T-Mobile.
