    He was also a huge patent troll with his Interval Research. It did a lot of harm to the industry, but so did Microsoft, so I guess that should be expected.

    What consumer would consider net neutrality to be bad? There is literally no reason to want to get rid of it if you are a consumer. The only people for it are the ones that want to charge more.

  7. Ending world hunger includes educating people. This will reduce reproduction. The idea that hungry people won't reproduce is silly. Just look around. He OP is right: the megalomaniac Internet "moguls" need to focus on Earth, not outer space. No one is living anywhere else but on Earth. We can't: we evolved to live here and our entire physiology depends on it.

    No it doesn't require much. What they call "AI" isn't very complex at all - they are just applying well known techniques to data. Same crap that people were doing in the 1960s.

    You must be kidding. You can pair a hololens/whatever with the latest i9 or whatever and it will make no difference. There are no ways that we know of to radically increase computer power. That train left the station along with Moore's Law years ago.

    The UK has done a good job reducing emissions since 2012. Unfortunately the EU has not, and has been increasing their emissions.

    Why uncomfortable? From what I understand Musk welcomes them and considered selling Tesla to them. What makes you think he is "uncomfortable" with them? Seems like best buddies to me.

    Jerked out the rag under Elon Musk? They bought 5% of Tesla at that point. They love Tesla and Elon. Apparently the feeling is mutual.

    They are also a 5% owner of Tesla, and apparently Elon Musk has discussed further investment with them and also selling the company to them. I guess he likes those guys.
