I hate to nitpick, but this really bothers me. Snakes aren't poisonous; They're venomous.
Poison = Harmful if you ingest the substance
Venom = Only harmful if it is injected
From a quick google search:
Any type of animal that injects a toxin into your body is venomous. If you touch or ingest a toxin from a plant or animal and become sick then it is poisonous. Snakes that inject toxins from fangs and the two species of Helodermatid lizards are venomous while plants, amphibians, and fungi (mushrooms) are all poisonous.
I know I'm not the only one who has mistreated their USB Drive... My 32mb usb drive has been through the washer and dryer at least twice... It still works perfectly. My professor dropped his 128mb drive in the toilet, fished it out, rinsed it off, then let it dry. His still works.
Does anyone else have USB Flashdrive horror stories?
Remember when there was real shareware? I understand that newer games, especially MMORPGs, are far beyond DOOM or WolfenStein 3D, but it was nice to download the first couple of levels for free. You were able to get a feel for the game and generally tell if it was a load of crap or not. Now we wait for Open Beta Tests. I personally will never drop a dime on FilePlanet.
I know I won't be buying any CDs for a while, which isn't hard since most music sucks now days. I do like Metallica's music, but I will never buy anything of thiers again. I'll only download thier MP3s, and if I want thier merchandise I guess I'll have to steal it or something, but I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a Metallica brand right now. Even if all the MP3 peer to peer software dies (like Gnutella, Napster, and others) then I'll go back to doing what I did before Napster. I'll use FTP Search and IRC channels just like the old school days.
On another Note...
Since Only Napster has to shut down, can't you still use Napigator (www.napigator.com) to connect to the various Napster Networks not run by Napster and still download songs? I wonder if I'd get taken to court by the RIAA if I ran a site with Napigator and Napster B5 and B6 on it...?
My friend and I tried to go to LinuxFest, but I had to work until 5. We made it to LinuxFest by 6:00 though, and thought we had an hour to enjoy it, but NO!!!! They had already locked up the doors an hour early! Maybe there was a low attendace because of this? Maybe they didn't advertise enough? Who knows. I'm just mad that they weren't open when they were supposed to be.
My IBM Thinkpad 380Z Works fine running Mandrake Linux 6.0 and Caldera OpenLinux. I've got an Viking 56k PCMCIA Modem and an Linksys 10/100 Ethernet card in it, and both of those work great too. The only thing that doesn't work on mine is the 16 bit sound. The 8 bit sound works fine. The only thing I had a problem with because of that was playing all my MP3s.
Microsoft. They aren't a small company anymore so what's up with the "Micro"? And they don't do just software, if any (most of it's bloatware!). They make hardware too... Hey, why don't we come up with some new names for Bill's little cash cow?
Yeah, I feel like there only reason anyone I know ever went to Toys R Us anymore was exclusive Funko Pop figures or Star Wars toys.
Firmware might as well be software...
Screw the TV, lets go Denno Coil style!

Thank you for posting this incredibly useful tool!

Man...
This site is just full of Appel fanboys.
Damn... How old am I then?
Dr. Venture already did this. And his was attached to a force field.
It affected Mexicans and Canadians?

I agree completely. Thanks for articulating exactly what I would have done a far worse job of trying to say.
It is a good thing that you didn't try then. You'd have ended up getting tazered!
As a parent, I take issue with people telling other people how to raise their kids.
So you think that you know how to raise a kid better than anyone else just because you couldn't read the instructions for a condom?
Sounds like your parents should have taught you to read before you went to school.
Needs more Goatse...
I'm not sure that I want Wii Sports. Too bad I can't switch to another game or take $50 off the cost to lose it.
DragonQuest: Swords anyone?
(12) Old enough to have a five digit /. user id.
Five whole digits? Well, Poopy!
Ever tried the Dragon Warrior Series? That's one of my favorites of all time.
Also, try playing Duck Hunt when you're drunk. It is a hugely popular game at parties.
Gotta love the NES. Mine has been hooked up ever since I got it for my 7th birthday.
It actually gets more play time than my Gamecube, PS2, or PSP...
Replay TV for me, all the way...
I like auto-skipping commercials, which is something I haven't seen in other DVRs.

According to an article on Sci Fi Wire News, the new Star Trek might omit the Star Trek name. Kinda freaky, eh?
Man, Now I gotta get one of these CDs when I get a PSX2?!?
