i would download Mandrake gladly since FC2 doesn't want to install on my P4P800 MB, but they use the evil XFree so i'm propably going to wait for another 2.6 distro. maybe slackware, or maybe fedora will come up with a solution to my MB problem.
acctually I've been using Fedora Core test 1 for like a month now. I know that it's still beta but quite a good one. in my mind it was the first big 2.6 distro.
exactly. you can almost feel the game trying to be like rez but failing all the way.
what is it even about? how come I can't control the music? it should speed up when I'm flying faster, or there should be some noises when I hit things and so on. it's a game signed by a musician for God's sake- make it musical. sheesh.
I'm definitly sticking to rez and frequency/amplitude (well I would if I still had my ps2:-))
Ok, I see your point. But it's not like downloading isos is a thing welcome by the developers. So the way that they adapted is still beyond me.
What about games that only have a SP mode?
I don't download, share or buy music (not including indie bands, which giveout their music) and I would very much welcome a fee that would give me the right to do it freely. Moreso I would welcome such a fee for games- or at least such a distribution way as for Savage. But that just isn't happening.
Well yes, but we aren't really talking here about demos of music but whole albums (whole games etc.).
I can think of one company that let me download the iso and wanted me to pay for the cdkey (iGames & Savage) the rest of the software industry is pilling up on copy protection.
The software and video game industries also continue to show strong growth and profitability. Each one of these industries has taken steps to adapt their business models to the realities of file sharing.
In what way did the gaming industry adapt to p2p filesharing?
Are there any shops in poland that will export to the us?
I don't think so. The $5 edition won't be boxed, it will be in a form of a newspaper with the game included. Pretty much the game starts of as a budget title here.
Also this version could be localised.
The best way to get a hold of this is find a friend or relative with family in Poland and ask them to get a hold of the game for you.
I don't like much story in my games. I figure that games with a strict story line get old after a while, they don't hold that much replay value for me.
I much prefer games with a loose story line or lack there of so I can make my own story up.
yeah I double checked that one after posting and of corse your right.

I was hit by the problem with the ASUS P4P800. I'm pretty pissed - was looking forward to this release.
with a couple of these babies my life long dream to mirror the internet is possible.
Sam Fisher will hunt your ass down, Darl.

It's a one time opportunity to be worthy of a "I got sued by SCO" T-shirt

Because the designer is Polish, in Poland the game will retail at about $5. AFAIK Eb Games has it listed at $39,99. Sweet, huh? ;-)
