I had an uncorrected lazy eye from shortly after birth. surgery did not help. Consequently, I have no true depth perception. I can function fine as there are many, many ways to get depth cues from the environment. (I have had fewer accidents than my wife). Can you watch this technology without the glasses? Stereoscopes and the like do nothing for me.
The one that irritated me I think is not terribly helpful (OS 10.4); when connecting to a published cups printer on a Linux host all I could get the thing to say was "Connection Failed" that's it.
Both GTK and Qt are toolkits that work on all linux variants, and Windows. If a company wrote their software using one of those toolkits from the start; even if their primary market is Windows. Porting later becomes a non-issue. Most Windows devs probably don't know that they have a choice.
Choice isn't the problem. Ignorance and stubbornness is. You are taking the time to learn about carpet and in the end will be much happier with the finished product.
Now imagine if you found out that the carpet you like most can't be installed in your house. That is the dilemma facing the Linux folks.
I had never heard of this either. I don't particularly care for the vegetable myself, nor do I like Sunny Delight. I thought there was a causative effect there. Live and Learn!
I have Vonage. My other options are Cox (VOIP) or Embarq (POTS) I have internet through Cox at the moment, but their VOIP costs more than Vonage. I will fight tooth and nail going back to Embarq(Formerly Sprint). My wife has had the same phone number her whole life. I can just see something going wrong and losing the number. I'd probably get a divorce.
Perhaps this was meant to be funny, but in order for 2 companies to have more information than the others, wouldn't those 2 companies have to have the same amount of information?
Otherwise, the top company will have more than the 2nd best. #2 would have more than 3, etc. Isn't that the point of ordinals?
Or, what may be more feasible, Put a 1840km (should be about 5-7 of the sky depending on viewing position) wide billboard in Geosynchronous orbit that simply says "SONY" in lights bright enough to see from earth at night. Now THATs advertising.
note - my math may be flawed. (42,164km orbital radius -> 132462.113km/360 = 368km per degree not taking into account altitude of the viewer)
I segfault occasionally in UT2004, but other than that have had no problems. Fedora Core 6 Nvidia Geforce 6600GT PCI-e Driver version 1.0.9755 Asus A8N-SLI Premium
Not top-o-the line, but good enough for everything I have tried thus far.
I'm doing my part. I only buy games that will run on linux. That's right, I said BUY. Money talks. Being all evangelical doesn't help if you are only interested in free as in beer. Developers need paid. I have over the last 6 months paid the equivalent cost of Vista Home in donations to various OSS projects. Do the same and Linux may move out of the basements of the world and maybe developers will port TO DX10 instead of the other way around.
I am one of those people. However, most people will not see it as a patent issue, and I will not be surprised if a customer tries to sue Vonage for the inconvenience. The patent system will be ignored by the public once again, and the status quo will continue.
I'm not looking forward to receiving a Sprint bill though. *shudder*
Could you point me to a paper on this? What is the negative matter and energy that balances the matter and energy known (visible) universe?
I like my torture with GHT

I'm at 2.6.20.... (FC6)
seems okay to me
Is that all?
I wonder what the size of all of the knowledge that mankind has at this moment is?
6 billion people * 20TB = 12 x 10^10 TB = = 1.05553116 × 10^23 bits
so...
3,115,132 years to send a copy of the library of congress to everyone.

I think that it is more sad that we are using the legal system like a lottery. This is "Ambulance Chasing" refined to a whole new level.

Nor is there anything inherently evil to this merger.

A free market does not demand equality.
And Oxygen! Every Single Bad person ever has used oxygen.
This is why I like my valves to be ball, gate, or ECC83 and EL34
The state I live in has 2 area codes, Clark County (702), and The rest of Nevada(775). I think that would be worse.

I don't have a scroll wheel you insensitive clod!
How is this different from SVG?
Why won't SVG go anywhere? Seriously? Is there some glaring problem with it?
But then the manufacturers have to dispose of the radioactive stuff they took out...
That would have been more newsworthy. "Washington bans industry freaks and chemicals"

TBH, I hadn't noticed until yesterday that I was using Konqueror. It really had not occurred to me to check.
